I plan on going on my second shopping trip soon, and I need some advice. So far, I've decided that I should add either Borage Oil or EPO to my routine. I'm also going to buy progesterone cream for massaging, so I'm going to trade wild yam for red clover, because I don't really think that I need so much progesterone. I'm also going to buy gingko biloba again.
Currently I have these four herbs:
Fenugreek
Saw Palmetto
Wild Yam
Gingko Biloba
But I have a question. At gnc, they're selling this product that is just phytoestrogens (http://www.gnc.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2133892&cp&origkw=phytoestrogens&kw=phytoestrogens&parentPage=search). The product contains borage oil, black cohosh (yes, I know this herb isn't too popular), soy isoflavones, and isolase. The only ingredient that sounds useless is the BC, but the others seem useful.
It's just that for some reason (I don't know if I imagined it) I think I've seen people on this forum say that buying products of this type isn't a good idea. If this is true, can someone tell me why before I go and spend my money on it?
Boobies06, is the product your talking about the natural breast enhancment product that GNC has? Many people recommend not using a product that has too many herbs because they tend to be diluted and too small in each herb to have an effect on the body. Less herbs in smaller dosages seems to have better results. But there are those people who grow on those NBE products that contain 10-12 ingredients and are sold at outragious prices, but results for those type of products seem to be slim compared to devising your own program.
Well, the product is of the GNC brand. It says it contains 300mg of BO, 160mg of BC, 125mg of Soy isoflavone extract, and 35mg of isolase. I'm guessing that that's the ammount per serving size, and the serving size is 2 pills.
But no, the product doesn't actually say that it's for breast enhancement. It just says that they're phytoestrogen pills. If you go to the link I provided you'll see the product in more detail.
Oops, I thought by BO you mean bovine ovary...lol. I have been using that abbrevation for a while. It doesn't look bad. But I haven't seen many people on here get results from taking the black cohosh. It looks like they have more borage oil than phytoestrogens so it looks pretty weak to me for NBE. But that is just my opinion.
Soy does have phytoestrogens, but the mgs. in that bottle doesn't look like enough for breast enhancement. I may be wrong. I do not consume soy because I personally believe there are more negative side effects to soy than benifits, unless it is in it's fermented form. Most soybeans are genetically modified and they contain goitrogens, which can inhibit proper thyroid funtion. The list can go on as far as the negative side effects of soy if consumed in large amounts, but those two things are enough for me to want to stay away from it.
Well, I'm going shopping today and am going to spend approximately $110. *sigh* I guess this is because I'm trying to stock up and make my trips less frequent.
