Hi everyone who is taking saw palmetto.. I went to woolworths to look at the herron saw palmetto and on the bottle it said (for male).
Are you sure us girls are allowed to take it for HBE?

Yes, Saw Palmetto is fine for women. It is good for the prostate, thus a man's herb. But still used for women for PMS and libido and breast enhancement. I've done some research and even for sites that aren't selling a product will mention that saw palmetto is known for breast enhancement. So don't worry. Many women here use it in their programs. You can take a look in the main menu and scroll down to Personal Programs.

Alot of the saw palmetto bottles you will see will be geared to males for prostate health. that is what they use it for. we use the same thing but for our breasts! good luck!

I was at Sprouts buying a bottle of Saw Palmetto today and a man working there approached me and asked if I needed any help and when he saw the bottle in my hand he said, "you don't need Saw Palmetto!" How embarassing! I said, "well, it's for many different things!" He then said he supposed it was. lol

you should have just told him that your prostate was bothering you lately and wanted to avoid any future problems. talk about confusing the poor dude. lol.

I thought it was pretty naive of him to work there and not know that it was for more than prostate issues! :)
