Hey gingerD

I bought a slendertone about 3 years ago. At the beginning I used it every day for about 6 months. I used to put it at the highest setting and I felt that it did strengthen my stomach muscles, but the appearance of my belly didn't really change (I carry all my weight there).

I would probably not recommend it, mainly cos its so expensive. After a while it became a chore to use it every day and as i couldn't see good results I gave up and it is now collecting dust in the loft! The sricky pads also used to annoy me, they loose their stickiness so easily, which prevents the machine conducting as well....I have since seen some brands which don't have sticky pads but use a conductive gel...I think I would have prefered one like that.

At the moment i'm trying abdominal strengthening exercises on a swiss ball and drinking loads of water to try to loose at bit of my belly, but i suppose I'm one of those people who will always have a bit of jiggle!!

Hope this helps
Kx

Look up the micron-electro breast enhancer thread on page 2 (well that's where it's at right now). Linda talks of success with a belt and short of the same nature. I'm very interested in the products she has used, I used to think they were all scams.

well slender tone is only really going to have some effect if you just need toning up and your not carrying excess weight, also eatting to get slim. so its like having a machine do exceriszes for you !!! but i wouldnt think it was better than a good workout at the gym !!!! I know thats a bit disapointing you see loads of those home kits being sold second hand at the cash convertors in melbourne. but I am thinking of getting a cheap on e to finnish off my tum though ! well see how it looks in 5 more weeks. also I found while i was on the bus 2 suburbs away from me a place called something like slimming tone so i rang them up. and they say they have several machines that work on different areas of the body and you spent 8 mins on one then jump on the next etc.... and they claim you can lose up to 10" thats a big claim. its quite cheap and they look like theyve been there a long time so when I come back (going overseas day after tomorrow ) Ill check it out and find out what it really is ! how much toning ??? or weight loss do you wish to achieve love jelly deee....

Hi Jelly!!
U c Jelly iv always been alittle obsesed by my weight, so as aposed to doing my usual dieting, im eating reasonably healthy, have the odd lasania here and there but not doing bad.
I do think i only need to tone,im often told i look much better and healthyer now i have put on some weight.so may be they could work for me +i do my dance and pillates but cant go back till the 11th of Feb

As per the machines u talk of, they used to have them here they are called toning tables, i used to go-they are really good they sort of vibrate and you lay in different positions (LOL no inuendo inteneded) you sort of have to resist agaisnst the machine, e.g-if the machine pushes your legs towards you(its only very slight)you have to push your legs away-do they look like this:

I cant seem to find them near me any more:( but id reccomend you having a go
