herbs causing period to be late?

Well usually I get period around 28 days. It's been 40 days and I was wondering what was up with that? On first month I got period right on time. Now for the second month it seems really late? Also I've noticed more results now as they seem fuller and was wondering if that had anything to do with it? Usually my nipples also get sore right before period which I use as an indicator when I get it but it seems to be dragging out? I'm just hoping I'm not pregnant but I don't see how that's possible. WOuld these herbs make it easier to get pregnant?

i don't know if the herbs could make it easier to get pregnant, but if you're using some kind of contraception you should be ok, when i started herbs i had my period a week late, not as much as you, but i guess it could be something to do with your body getting used to herbs and it's probably a bit off balance at first, somebody correct me if i'm wrong

I got mine on time (last week) but it was shorter than usual and lighter than usual. Has anyone experienced that happening?

Herbs can make periods shorter, lighter and less painful, that's one of the things they've been traditionally used for. I think prolonging they cycle could also be one of those effects of herbs. For NBE, I think that's good - longer lutheal pohase, more time to grow.

I also forgot to mention I did have a yeast infection last week? And ended treatment sunday. I wonder if that had anything to do with it to? YOu're suppose to be more likely to get infections before periods and when you're more hormonal. Hopefully that's the case.

Also I USED to be on bc but stopped since especially I don't want it interfering with BE. Before I was on it while using some premixed pills but I feel safer using protection while on this than with using BC with no protection just in case it DOES happen to interfere. I figured that was safer than bc with no protection.

Has anyone had problems with their period being heavier?? I use a mooncup (which are supposed to last a lot longer than tampons - some people can even keep them in their entire cycle!) and I still have to empty/change it every HOUR the first couple days of my cycle!! So if I was using tampons... they would probably need to be changed every 30 minutes or so. It's awful. I'm hoping it doesn't make it any worse... It's embarassing enough at work going to use the restroom every hour.
