Hi, Just found a good site to calculate an estimate of your Body Fat Percentage. I know this isn't the best place to post it. So if anyone wants to let me know which area to post it off the main forum that would be helpful. I was thinking it could go in the Breast Measuring because it is a measuring tool, but maybe it would go better off with General Reference?

If it makes you feel better, this isn't one hundred percent accurate. It's just the best way to estimate it. :)

I went on that site, got out my tape measure and scale and i am upset. i weigh 122 lbs. am 64 inches tall. waist-26", hips-36", neck-12.5". so what does it tell me. that i am 6 lbs overweight. yeah right. i fought hard for those lbs. and i do not plan on shedding them ANYTIME soon. so word to the wise. if you are even a little apprehensive about your weight. i would by pass this site. seriously. thanks anyhow madison. sorry. :-/

Yeah, you are definitely not overweight. I have the same measurments (including height! Funny!) as you but am 10 pounds less - people often tell me I look too thin - it told me I was right near the edge of being normal (and underweight). Maybe it's your new boobs that added the 6 pounds :) :) Oh well....

If i had 6 lbs boobs i dont know what i would do :) but seriously my weight hasn't really gone up at all. it still fluctuates from 119 in the morning to 122 at night. maybe my breasts are stealing weight from other places? like my brain. i forgot to replace the batteries in the brava and i ya freaking out thinking it was broken cuz my daughter had dropped it but turns out the batteries were just dead. oops. lol :)

I read it's 20%-22% (on the newbies thread I believe)

i think it underestimates your body fat. it says i have 22 percent and i have been tested with more reliable methods like hydrostatic weighing and i am actually around 27 percent. perhaps it has to do with the fact that i am small framed. so if you are big boned it might overestimate, if you are small boned it might underestimate.
what i dont get is why i have such little boobs if i have so much fat!!!

Tati, unfortunately that is just how ower bodies distribute it. You have peripheral fat which is what you can see on your thighs and belly, boobs etc. and everyone has fat around our vital organs like the heart etc. too. Presumably that fat shows up on your more specific tests too, and some have higher amounts of fat there even though they look quite thin in general. It varies from person to person and your fat may just be more on your thighs, butt, and belly and not so much at your boobs. If you are pear shaped, don't feel too bad, that is a healthier body shape than apple shaped. The bigger your stomach circumference the higher the risk of heart disease, diabetes etc.
Sorry if I went on and on, and I hope that I answered your question somewhere in here and that that was what you actually asked. :-)
