You guys will like this one!!! It's about me - and it's 100% TRUE!
I got a modeling audition in Los Angeles for a clothing company's sweater line. My best friend (who is also a model) suggested that I wear my "Boob Bra" (the bra that makes me look like I am a full C cup) because I'll fill out the sweaters better. So I strapped on my boobs, and headed out to the audition.
The audition was in an office and I stood in front of three women. They examined my look for a bit and then asked me to take off my SHIRT AND BRA to fit one of their bra-less sweaters!!!!!!!!!!! So I started to laugh very nervously and said,
"Okay, I hope you think this is funny. I'm not really this size. I'm a very flat A. I took some bad advice from my best friend and ended up wearing my boob bra."
LUCKILY, they DID think it was funny - but I was red with embarrasment the ENTIRE fitting! I couldn't stop screaming when I got in my car!
HAHA That is great. That would be pretty embarassing. So how did the fitting end up going after that (besides the fact that you were mortified the entire time)?
Thought you guys would like that one. I ended up not getting booked for the job, but there's more where that came from! I threw out that stupid boob bra. I am what I am!
Hi Susan, thanks for sharing your story. I have the need to wear water bras because I feel too self-conscious without them ... and forget about bathing suits! At least you have a good sense of humor about the whole ordeal.
Maybe you can take heart in the fact that almost all runway models have very small chests.... big boobs don't make it on to the haute coutour runway! You go girl... your attitude is great!
