i'm getting married soon so i need to start birth control, but i don't want nbe to interfere with it. i can't risk getting pregnant so what should i do? i recently started vitex to help my pms, but doing more research on it i found that you should not take it with bc pills, so i guess i'll have to drop that. do you guys think it would be safe to continue with wu, or should i quit that too? if i do, i'll just stick to massage and try to eat the right kinds of foods i guess. i REALLY don't want to give this up yet. i think i can grow a lot more if i keep up my routine. i feel completely lost on what to do....
i would probably suggest that if youre really concerned with not having kids, maybe you should just try to be satisfied with your body how it is and let the NBE go for now. like me, im terrified of having children lol thats why when i get married and start BCP im going to give up my herbs just so that i can be sure that it wont interfere. sorry if this isnt what you wanted to hear... but its better safe than sorry right?
i'd rather not go the condom route b/c they are a lot less effective and i know i should just accept myself the way i am, but that is much easier said than done, lol. i've tried. i just figured there was never going to be any hope for my breast size and now that i've been proven wrong by nbe actually working i don't want to give it up. yeah, it definitely is better to be safe than sorry. i can't afford to have a kid for so many different reasons right now. this is a pretty tough decision because i've been down about a lot of things lately and this was one thing i could look forward to.
Don't worry, there are plenty of girls taking birth control pills and doing NBE at the same time. Maybe the combination may even give you a boost. You never know.
I don't know about wonderup interfering. Just stay away from the ones that do interfere with hormonal bcp's.
I'd advise you too research into which herbs could interfere with BCP, I know of only one - saw palmetto. Then devise a routine of those that don't. Then get on BCP and also use a second way of contaception, like a condom or a diaphragm. I think that would be quite safe.
Did I read on the forum that you can replace Saw Palmetto with Stinging Nettle Root (not leaf) as nettle doesn't attribute to weight gain and does not interfere with BC? Try doing some research on the nettle. I don't need BC, so I don't pay too much attention to those threads, but I seem to remember...

Congrats Wishful thinking. I don't want to get pregnant either, I am on BCP and herbs and have been since the summer. I done research, and as far as I could find Fenugreek and Nettle root, which are the two that I am taking, don't interfere, I know Nettle root is definitely safe, you want to check the Fenugreek again as well because I think someone said it could interfere or something, however I never found anything myself about that.
The SP MAY interfere, so it isn't even definite, but to be safe I would personally not use it with BCP. Christina used it with BCP and never got pregnant but you never know, and 10 may be lucky and you are nr. 11 and don't.
An easy way to check which herbs interfere is by looking at the ingredients of WU, they say you can use BCP safely with it, so whatever herbs are in that should be okay to use I would guess.
