And it was the episode where Rudy wanted to make her boobs bigger by using a cream and then Cliff and Claire went on and on about how BE does not work. Cliff said, "You might as will just rub *mayonaise* on your chest and you'll get the same results." It kind of angers me that the media is so negative about NBE. I remember when I was in middle school, I watched that episode and my spirits just really plummeted, because unlike Rudy who had other classmates who hadn't developed, I was the ONLY girl in my class who hadn't started. Bad times.
I agree that it's really unfortunate that there is so much bad information (and so many scam products) out there that 'prove' that BE doesn't work. :( I didn't believe BE was possible w/o surgery a couple of years ago because of this.
It's so frustrating and bizarre that hypnosis was proven to be effective for BE in the 70s in several studies, but no one talks about that anymore outside of forums like this one.
I remember watching Napoleon Dynamite with my husband while I was secretly taking NBE...I hope I didn't turn pink when Uncle Ricco started pedaling herbs for BE...I almost cried and was so discouraged mine wouldn't work...thankfully I found this forum...
It's downright outrageous. Think of how many women undergo plastic surgery and how many feel misterable about their breasts for the rest of their lives because of this. It's that more hypocritical that it pretends to be 'education', when it's clearly propaganda with a clearly set agenda.
i remember that episode! when i first considered trying nbe i thought about that episode and figured it wouldn't really work. i tried anyway and am glad that i did :)
that scene cracks me up BECAUSE i am on nbe!! and remember: no one ever said it couldnt work in the movie... and he was right that you cant tear a plastic bowl, so who is to say he wasnt right that the pills he sold would work?
the ignorance of the media... they are wrong about a good many things, nbe just being one of them!
