Okay I got this problem. Within the past, oh I'd say two weeks, my hair turned greasy. Like bad. I have never ever had this problem before. Not even during puberty (that I remember). Has anyone else had their hair turn funky while on NBE? I would have thought this would have happened way before this point, but I was also wondering if the vitex might be doing it while adjusting everything?
I think I found a shampoo that will fix the problem, but am really hoping it just goes away. I just wanted to know if I am the only one suffering!!!
I remember other members saying hair got very dry and wirey,as apposed to greasy but it does show that hair is affected with nbe-try a search on the forum, there was quite abit on it but it was ages ago
Yes, my hair is different. Before I started my hair was very damaged and dry. I had a hard time taming it. Now it is more greasy, which in a way is a good thing because my hair seems healthier. I do shampoo it more now and I have changed shampoos. I no longer use conditioner. I think it may be just the change in hormones. Hormones affect every part of the body.
Thanks for the reply. The shampoo I got seems to be correcting the problem, its still greasy, but I would say 75% better then it had been. I just have to keep from touching my hair, but knowing its greasy drives me crazy!!!
Are you taking EPO or flax or borage,,, High doses of any, will change your skin and hair from normal to oily!!! Yes it could be change in hormones levels,, but I would look at your oil consumption first.
Nope, no extra oils internally. I was taking some fish oil, but that wasn't regular, no matter how hard I tried. I would say its probably been 3 weeks since I've taken any. I use EPO periodically in my boob massages, but have been doing this for a while, so thats why I am confused as to why it, what seemed like overnight, turned greasy.
Hey,maybe your 13 again!! The power of herbs eh??? So this is odd,, but when you think of it,, read your bottles,, alot of herbs have fatty acids in them,, I know Saw Palmetto is high in fatty acids,, and I think part of the reason it makes you gain so much weight,, sometimes.
Wonder if that means my boobs will take off now? Of course now that I think about it, at 13 I didn't have boobs to begin with ;-P My routine right now is a very lazy one. I am only taking the Vitex and half the recommended dosage of Tobustan to use up the bottles. I figured since it wasn't very potent, that it wouldn't work greatly against the Vitex Who knows anymore. I noticed this morning though, that I seemed to be oozing oil all over!!! My skin is more oily then normal, mostly noticed on my hands and face. Golly I hope all this reverses when I am done.................of course that could be so long from now, I might not remember what its like to not be greasy!!!! *sigh*
Oh well,*shrug* I'll just monitor everything, if it gets too bad, I might decrease everything again and see how it goes.
