i am having a dish of mushrooms, fennel, tempeh, carrots and celery sauteed in coconut oil with onion, lemongrass, and cayenne atop of some barley. yum! healthy and boobie-friendly (i'm a 'born-again' veggie so no chicken feet for me!)
speaking of a veggie diet, i seem to be having better luck with nbe since i've gone veggie (again) a few months ago, as compared to the previous two attempts when i was eating meat/dairy.. i'm sure that a lot of this is due to a refined routine, but since i've switched to a plant-based diet i have very little trouble keeping my weight down, even when i seem to be eating a lot, and little pms bloating... at the same time them titties appear to be shaping up nicely. so the veggies out there need not despair! there's hope even without the animal protein :)
I was never worried about being a vegetarian and growing breasts. I know the whole animal protein thing is a load of bull****. Afterall, our bodies were designed to live without meat. It wouldn't make any sense, even looking at our physiognomy is a dead giveaway that we aren't carnivores, or even omnivores.
Well I've read books about this since I was 14 years old... I haven't really read about this online, but I just did a search on google for "humans as herbivores" and this is the first thing that came up, I'm sure you'll find more if you want to look. I would go into explaining it all but it's A) not really the place and B) I'm a college student working on her thesis and don't have much time. hehe =P
Thank you. I'm gonna try really hard not to argue with you, 'cause you have your thesis to do ;) I will say that people who think that humans are meant to be herbivores should take a look at an herbivore's teeth (I have horses living downstairs, so I know what they look like) and do a little research on what our closest cousins, the chimps, eat (fruit, berries, insects, birds, eggs, mammals and other monkeys.)
I'm not just trying to be argumentative, I've read a lot about this with great interest and I like to see where people are coming from.
oy! let us not have a dietary preferences argument shall we? those of us who like to eat meat, should feel free. and those of us who don't should feel free also :) there are plenty reasons both for and against.
I don't think either of us were arguing. And I never said it's bad to eat meat--- I don't think it is. All I said was that we have the bodies of herbivores, and nothing like a carnivore's body/digestive track and then
backed it up with some sources, like I was asked to.
To the person who said something about chimps---- We humans have about 99% similar genetic makeup as chimpanzees. How much do you think we are similar to a lion or tiger or some other carnivorous animal? Not very much...
