Hello,

Kelp will upset you, I rather think fennel will too, you should keep to a very low fibre diet, as fibre irritates the gut, although you may be told different from your doctor, but you like myself have ilieum disease, so less fibre, less bowel movements.
SP is okay for me, but I do have my off days and wondered if it was that, but I'm getting fullness and pain with the SP
Thats why I think wonderup is good, it has the fennel and other herbs and you can start off with a few pills a day then increase.
Just a bit of advice for you, do not take the herbs when you are having a flare-up, if you can't eat keep to a nutritional drink for vitamins, but as I know even that can upet you.
what are the dosages of your medication? and is your weight ok at the moment?
good luck, it is a journey but I got there with breast growth and was so thin and flat chested all my life so there is hope.

I have been starting my day off with lots of fiber on occaision, there are 7 grams in the oatmeal I eat, and every once in a while I will have two servings. It doesn't seem to be bothering me too much, but maybe causing bloating and gas, although I figured it was just one of the herbs. I will pay attention to how I react on a day without it at all.

I do not want to risk it with SP right now, so I am trying stinging nettle, as that is a well known alternative. I have only started it two days ago, so I do not know if it is working, but I would guess it would work the same. If it doesn't after a couple months, then I will try to SP again.

and no, I do not take herbs with a flare up, but I do take them if I have a little pain, as that has become pretty much normal to me. Lately I have had a decrease with pain, and amount of bowel movements (back to one to two a day, sorry if this is TMI) which to me and to the doctors, is a very normal number. I'm thinking it's the herbs.

I don't remember the dose of the medication, but I get a shot (small shot) of Humira every other Friday. My weight is at 108lbs, I am 5'4". I believe I am now no longer sitting on the edge of underweight.
