Hi there. Do you massage with CLA? Or a different form of safflower? Thanks, Jen

I have been, but recently have stopped because I'm starting to question if it's good for NBE or not. I massage with EPO, Vit. E, Pumpkin seed oil and cocoa butter (or shea butter). I also was adding safflower oil (CLA). I recently have added Vitex to my massages and also am taking it internally. I also have been drinking Vitex tea too. I really need to update my program page and photos!!!

Oh - I also forgot to add that my bottle of CLA (from GNC) says it's safflower oil.

I bought the same CLA from GNC - because yes, it does say safflower, and I have been looking for this as I wanted to add it to my massages. The box says: A naturally occurring fatty acid derived from safflower seeds.

It also says: One of the best-selling supplements among dieters. CLA is a naturally occurring healthy fatty acid that is present in foods such as cheese and meat. These types of foods are often excluded when restricting dietary intake.

I have been trying it with my massages for the last three days. I feel a little fuller. Maybe I'll just try this one bottle and see what happens. If I deflate, well, then I'll stop. My massaging is pretty much the same as yours. I take Vitex internally though - haven't added it to massaging.

Sounds like you are still doing good. Keep us posted!

Thanks, Jen

Js89 - Glad to hear you seem fuller! Maybe I'll add it back into my massages. When I did a tiny bit of research on CLA, it seemed even healthier than GLA (which is what I use EPO to get). But I'm worried that the info was not very scientific or independent and they just wanted to sell you the stuff. I wish we had a GLA and CLA expert on the forum. Maybe we should post a thread of "GLA versus CLA" and see if we get any info?!?!

http://www.starflower.com/Ingredient-List_ep_48-1.html per link:

Unrefined Safflower Oil - Unrefined Safflower oil is the cold-pressed oil from the seeds of the Safflower plant. Safflower oil softens the skin, used by Ancient Egyptians to heal wounds, and is presently used to soothe bruises and skin irritations. Safflower oil is very high in the essential fatty acid linoleic acid. Linoleic acid helps maintain skin cell integrity. Safflower oil absorbs very easily into the skin.

Borage Seed Oil (starflower)- High in essential fatty acids and contains up to 24% GLA (gamma-linolenic acid) vitamins and minerals. All skin types can benefit from its regenerative and stimulating qualities. Excellent for prematurely aging skin.

Evening Primrose Oil - Source of Vitamin E, (anti-oxidant) and rare GLA of the essential fatty acid chain and high in EFA W6. Effective skin and body nutritive and moisturizer.
