Hello,
To all of the fabulous ladies out there in this forum!!! I need some help because I have NURSED 5 GIRLS, Whew, YES 5 girls!!! So now I am looking for a program to better suite me. I am a 33 year old 5 foot 9 slender woman with a small frame and my breast are depleted and very saggy. We won't go into the whole self esteem spill and the bedroom thingy with my husband right now, sure you have heard that before!!! I know I made you laugh. Anyway, I was going to order from Bountiful Breast until I found this site through another user of Bountiful Breast and well now I am confused about ordering from them.
To all of the mom's who have nursed babies, what are you doing that is NOW working 4U.
With so many posts on this forum it will take me 4ever to read through all of these entries. So as I am getting better acquaited with this site. Could you please direct me to your posting or let me know what would be a good program for me before I go ahead and order Bountiful Breast.
The main ingredient in Bountiful Breast(BB) is Bovine Ovary(BO). I used to take BB and have had some success with it but it is very expensive. I've breast fed two kids and had similar problems as you. Others on the forum have grown just as well with just Bovine Ovary. I'm currently taking Nature's Harbor/DNE brand BO and I'm growing just as well from that. It is much cheaper than BB. There is a seperate forum on the main page called: Glandular Therapy (Bovine Ovary) Forum. Check it out for stories/experiences and where to buy the inexpensive BO. Good luck on your BE journey.
I will look at the other forum you suggested. I did have some hesitant in regards to BB because I spoke with a sells rep last week and she stated that she would call me back because she was on the phone with someone else. Well, she never called back??? I am very hesitant about committing to place an order of that amount of money and not have the support of the company there if need be. Hope that makes sense. Michelle was the one who directed me to this site so before ordering I figured it would be worth asking others.
Hello! Welcome to the forum! I agree with Wonderbrides recommendation. I tried herbs and seemed to only have water swelling in my breasts and it seemd to make my stomach grow more than anything. I have just started the cheaper DNE brand of the BO and so far I feel great - no side effects and the DNE brand is way cheap!!! I wish I had tried it first before wasting money on herbs and other things, like creams.
The bovine ovary forum is a good place to start to gather information and this entire board, web site is very interesting and the people are very friendly. Many have become friends.
I have 5 children also by the way. :]
Good luck to you!
I'm taking BB right now and have a couple of months left, and after that I plan on taking just the generic BO, which I already have and take sometimes also. I also believe that the generic is basically the same for a much lower price. I also have not had a good experience with their customer service, several phone calls and emails have gone unanswered and I'm a paying customer. I'm very thankful for the help I get here, or I would be on my own.
I only nursed one, but it may as well have been 10. The first thing that BB did for me is to fill me up and out, now after three months I am starting to have growth. Others here have grown well with herbs also, and massage is a part of almost all programs.
Good luck to you whatever you decide, and welcome! -- Sissy
I have also nursed 5. My pics on the main page do not show how saggy and depleted mine were before I started NBE, because I did not take pics in the beginning. When I would lay on my back they would sag all gross and look like loose skin with stretch marks. I would have been happy to just be flat and firmed up than that! You can see from the pics that it is not as bad now.
I started with herbs (albeit some very week ones) and it definately helped plump them up so that I was no longer embarassed to lay on my back. (You are laughing now, I know! :-) Now, it is plumper.. and my nipple doesn't sag in like an indent, it stands out proper.
I do not know if it is just water plump, because I have not gone off the herbs yet...just started a new round.
I would recommend HIGHLY massage, with a good cream. You could even try a firming cream, but if you are trying to "grow" too, then you may want the PM cream or the Wonderup cream.
Hi,
I nursed 4. Take a look at my pics under lilmama40's picture page and my program on the personal programs page under "it's hard to know what to try". I've gained half an inch in just over a month and am very happy! :-)
I am a mom of 2 little ones and I also feel saggy and deflated from nursing.
I am not a big person and I had a 34C before babies; very nice and round, they were great.
I am thin and curvy and have no problems really but my bust is saggy and maybe a bit smaller.
I started BB pills 2 days ago.
I started feeling slight tingling today, but I can't be sure it is anything.
I am hoping to just firm up and look a bit more like before (I am not expecting miracles, just a bit better).
I will keep you updated on my progress.
In case it helps, I included some info on what I am doing and my general health and lifestyle.
MY GENERAL HEALTH:
I do a lot of Yoga for exercise and am relatively fit and healthy.
I eat normally, lots of whole grains and fruit (I should eat more veggies, I try).
I love all meats and fish and good bread and cheese.
The only 'health food' elements of my diet are that all my milk and eggs are organic and I eat very healthy whole wheat bread. I try not to eat hydrogenated oils and high fructose corn syrup, and I try to keep it out of my kids' diets as well
I am not a crazy health foodie though, I just look at labels when I buy food.
I have never had hormone issues or fat issues; I do have some mild allergies and less than perfect sinuses.
I am on low dose hormone Birth control.
WHAT I AM DOING:
Along with BB, I am taking evening primrose oil daily and one protein shake a day.
I got the protein shake at the helath food store as per their recommendations, and I take it with milk and chocolate mixed in.
Hi!
I've nursed 4 children and am having great NBE success at this point. Check out my program under the personal programs page under "it's hard to know what to try". Good luck :-)
