Hi Just wondering if anyone experienced pains in the calf area when taking NBE? After one wk I experienced really bad throbbing pains. I kept taking for one more week and then decided if it was still bad I would stop my program. After 2 weeks the pains are nearly gone but im just wondering if anyone else experienced this. I think I may even have grown slightly (less than half an inch but its a start).

I haven't but think you should get this looked at, just in case. I don't mean to scare you and it's probably not the case but pains in your calves like that can indicate DVT, blood clots. If they were strong and you can't think of a direct cause for them (like a hard workout that really strained your muscles), it's probably better to be safe. Good luck and hope you're okay. :)

P.S. Do you smoke or use hormonal birth control?

I had the same problem, very severe pains in the back of my legs, the pain was worse when walking, it lasted about two weeks, I did not think it could be the herbs, I'm on wonderup and took saw palmetto at that time ( have just dropped the SP)
its got me thinking now?

I would go to a doctor to check it out but...I had those pains SO bad all the time. What I had figured out was I was dehydrated. Fenugreek made me grow but made me retain alot of water so dehydrated myself. Until you can get into the doctor try drinking alot of water and I mean like a gallon a day. Even without fenugreek if I don't drink enough water I will get those pains. they go away within a couple of hours with drinking that much. Let us know how it turns out for you.

Bloodclots. Too much estrogen in your system can do that.

thanks everyone. I do normally drink a lot of water but last week or so have not been drinking as much as have been on the road with the boss visiting clients and have not had many opportunities to drink much.

I will now make sure i drink heaps of water somehow every day.

I do take birth control and i dont smoke.
