I was wondering what others experiences for this were. I really don't want to gain weight. While on the program I DID see results. However I think it was just due to weight gain from herbs.
I really wanted to lose the weight so I joined the gym as I started having trouble fitting into jeans. I am normally a size 5 but even size 7 jeans were getting horrible to get into. This is all in the span of 2 months of continuous massage and steadily taking pills from greenbush. I definitely saw results for sure but all I think due to weight gain.. I am a 5'5 frame and had weighed 130 lbs to give you guys an idea when I usually had weighed around 120. I had people asking me if I was in early stages of pregnancy to give you an idea how chubby I was getting as my stomach really did not match the rest of my body. It was getting really rounded and I did not want to buy new pants to mask it either because of expense.
Now since then I pretty much stopped BE except for random massages and random pills to finish them off. Since joining the gym and working out 5 days a week I have lost alot of weight and the thing is of course it's losing it in all the wrong places! Butt and boobs while I still have a slightly plump stomach. More flat as it's easier to get into pants but my pants are definitely looser now as they were before.
It just is frustrating to gain breasts it seems you HAVE to gain weight to get bigger and was wondering if anyone had success without gaining so much weight. I expected to gain some weight but not to look 3 months pregnant! I was wondering for those who didn't need to gain too much weight what was their program as well. I was taking all sorts of pills from greenbush as well as extras. Im thinking next time to cut it back and look into vitex or PM for a more simplified routine but Im worried it wont work as good.
yep im afraid im the same, gained boobs but gained at least a stone in weight since NBE, and have struggled eva since to get rid of the weight.
also worried about loosing the weight an =d loosing the boobs.
Im taking a chineese herbal tea to rid the body of toxins and i have lost the bloated feeling iv had for about 6 months though
I'm afraid it is because you'll always need fat to go to the boobies. If you're already within a considered to be normal weight you shouldn't need to alter your diet in terms of calories though. I do believe however that NBE is a bit about increasing the amount of fat deposition on the breasts. Otherwise instead of doing an NBE routine one could pretty much just gain weight. Lately I have been noticing that I'm a bit more proportionate. Those 1st months on NBE when I was taking high dosages of fenugreek + wild yam+ hops+ saw palmetto were the worst months for me, I have put some weight (around 2-3kg) and couldn't see much on my boobs. Now I haven't put any extra weight and looks like things are getting a bit more balanced when it comes to fat distribution.
I have to add that I put weight but had given up on smoking a few months earlier (had gained 3kg just because of that, before starting NBE). Also started adding milkshakes and altering my diet in order to eat more protein, so I can't say it was the herbs but my dietary habits instead.
Perhaps you'll want to keep taking some herbs, vitex shouldn't harm and add others like fenugreek in a low dosage might be a good idea. :)

I'm guessing it had to be SP. I normally do NOT gain weight easily no matter what I eat. With the herbs it made it extremely easy to gain weight. I guess you can't have it all but I think after exercising to my ideal figure I'll start back on BE and only do toning exercises and no cardio although I think it's better for my health to do cardio I'll try to lay off it and just try to keep my figure with any other machines besides the treadmill.
For me my experience was with stopping the constant pills and joining the gym it was VERY easy to drop the weight quickly as long as the pills were dropped. It's been no more than a month and I've already lost that weight as I was very persistent of going the the gym right after work and working for up to 2 hours. Now I'm just trying to tone myself more and work on my stomach as my stomach is the hardest part to flatten more.
It just feels to me like BE isn't real BE but it means just making it easier to gain weight and spread it to other areas. Like I definitely gained it in the butt. Now unfortunately since loosing alot of it I have stretch marks :( It feels like a loose loose situation as I feel as soon as I loose access weight I'll lose it in those spots quickest before anywhere else. It's like what's the purpose of it all if in the summer along with access boobs your going to have a hugggee stomach where you won't want to be in a bikini anyway. I guess I'll try another routine without the SP next time and see how that works.
If I'm not mistaken, Surf, Tigerlily, and Eve didn't gain weight while doing BE. You might be right, many women did complain about saw palmetto as being the culprit of weight gain. I remember when I was taking 3,000mg of it (although I was supposed to be taking about half that dose) I really had a big appetite and eventually gained some weight. It was bad because I needed the gain since my BMI was low.
Ok...I am interested in this too, since I can't squeeze into my 10s any more. We mainly need protein to grow, right? So if one was on higher protein, lower bad fats, higher good fats, lower bad carbs, higher good carbs, could one lose weight but still gain?
while i was on vanity for 3.5 months early-ish last year, i actually lost a little weight, and gained some boobage (wasn't even doing massage, back then). towards the tail end of taking vanity my bit-of-acne problem started getting unmanageable, so i stopped taking it (in july, i think) and pretty much went back to the original shape (i also quit bcp at around the same time (may?), after being on it for like 7 years).
Its really strange. I did not notice any change really in diet either. I eat the same now and still lost that weight so I'm guessing since taking BE pills tricks the body into thinking its pregnant? maybe it also tricks the body into storing more of the fat? I really didnt notice any change at all in appetite. Well hopefully after I take all the rest of the pills and finish them up I can start a routine with less maintenance so I can tell for sure whether it's the pills. I really don't want to go out and buy all size 7-8 pants just so I can have bigger breasts as it seems really silly. I might as well eat alot without the pills if it's going to be that way. I just think the pills make it easier to retain fat.
With both of my pregnancies, I put on about 30 pounds and didn’t lose much of the weight until AFTER I was done breastfeeding, after they were each a year. Within a short time after stopping breastfeeding both times, I lost most of the weight. And no, I don't think I "over ate" while I was pregnant. I've always been thin. I think my body needed the extra weight during/after pregnancy, and that is how it reacted. I think my reaction to herbs is kind of the same way.
Have any of you gained weight and not seen an increase in boob size?
Last year I gained 25 pounds (being lazy) and my boobs didn't get any bigger. Has anyone else experienced this? It kinda makes me wonder if my boobs won't grow with anything i try and i'll have to get a boob job later on in life.
Estrogen encourages weight gain on your tummy and thighs so I suppose adding all this extra amount to your diet is naturally going to make you gain weight unless you are one of the lucky people who dont ever gain weight. If you are in your forties then this is going to be even more the case.
yikes! i am sort of scared now! i hope more people respond to this and have more encouraging things to say in regards to the weight issue. i started nbe about a month ago now. i take natureday, and they say it won't cause weight gain. i think the main herb in that is saw palmetto actually. so far i haven't gained any weight in a month. in fact, i have even lost a couple pounds, and i think it probably has to do with the fact that i started eating a whole lot more healthily since starting nbe. i eat all high protein and only occasionally eat some dessert when i am out to dinner (and maybe the occasional candy bar), but i am so dedicated, that i have seriously changed my eating habits, which was really difficult for me to do prior. so far i have gained an inch but have actually lost an inch (or half an inch...depends the time of day) in my stomach. do you think the gaining weight thing has to do with body type and how you individually distribute fat? someone mentioned gaining more in the stomach and another person mentioned gaining more in the butt. just wondering because i've read a lot of people complain about stomach bloat from herbs and don't know if they are two separate experiences. when did you notice you were gaining weight?
I noticed in about a month I'd say. I always had bloated feeling right after taking herbs even though I ramped them and even though I wasn't taking the max amount of herbs I could take with GB. I gained weight though in all places. It wasn't just "one" are unfortunately. It was boobs, butt (the good parts), but then there was the stomach and thighs as well. I'm say about a 34A and my bra was getting MUCH more filled out for sure when I was gaining weight. However in the end I figured after working out in a gym guys prefer more fit women anyway and I really didn't want to keep gaining. It was getting so HORRIBLE trying to squeeze into my once loose jeans. Since working out however I think I become smaller then I was to start with. However I'm sad I lost it in the good parts but I don't think I lost much more than what I had to start with anyway, not that I can notice. I would suggest however using cocoa butter EVERYWHERE because if you loose weight in other areas later, you will get stretch marks, trust me... I have some on my butt to prove it :( All in all it was around a ten lb gain in 2 months. 120 eating the same, 130 eating the same. It did not make me any hungrier then usual, however it seems the herbs made it easier to retain the fat from the foods.
I'd really however would like to hear experiences where those did not gain access weight in the stomach, etc. as I don't see anyone posting in this thread about positive experiences without so much access weight gain.
I'm afraid I don't have much faith in the usual herbs most are taking for BE. I gained weight on them (Fenugreek, fennel, Saw palmetto and wild yam)
My stomach grew much better than my breasts. I had tons of sensations, my breasts were so painful I was convinced it was working and they did swell some 1-2 inches, but it was only temporary, probably just water. After I quit taking the herbs, my breasts shrank pathetically (they looked smaller than ever!) and I've had to work hard to get my weight back to normal. I took BO for a couple months, kept losing weight while on it, AND gained about an inch in breasts. SO it is possible to gain in boobage without gaining everywhere else, but it depends on what you are taking.
But am now trying ST Herb, Pueraria Mirifica because I've heard so many good things about it (anti aging etc) Because of the other health benefits, I would like to use it long term and hopefully get some good results, but if not, I will probably go back to the BO - it is cheaper.
My own theory on the weight gain.
I think if you can gain weight, then you can grow breasts.
The key is using the right supplement to prompt your growth. (That actually triggers the right combination of hormones needed for breast growth)
Some people have grown well on these traditional BE herbs, others have not.
I do believe that both Pueraria Mirifica and BO are better suited for actual results. This is my own personal opinion that comes from my own frustration, but if you check out the BE board and read some of Fawn's posts, you'll see I am not alone in this view. And they will advise you that if you are going to take fenugreek, wild yam and saw palmetto that you should expect some weight gain. That is the nature of these herbs.
That being said, I do wish everyone the best of luck in whatever meathod they choose. I just wanted to share my frustrating experience with the rest of you on the whole weight gain train.

I agree with vieny. I too am looking into buying from hoodiatrust some Stherb products for my next round. I contacted one of the people who have bought from her and she says she has seen results without gaining weight. This BE is really expensive but less expensive than implants still.
I had lost all the gain unfortunately with my greenbush combo after spending a bit over a 100. I hope St herb fairs better. Has anyone tried both PM and wonderup? I think wonderup however is more like greenbush so I think I'd gain weight with that too.
vienay,
what do you like about p.m. so far? how long have you been taking it? i guess my question is sort of similar - do you think it would be okay to take p.m. with other herbs such as fennugreek and fennel? so far i have had good success with herbs. i've gained over an inch in about a month and no weight. i'm not taking wild yam, which a lot of people seem to gain weight with. do you think p.m. could increase the success of nbe while using other herbs?
I would also very much be interested in sophies question. I just spent like 100 bucks on the stjohn stuff now (it'll take a long time to ship so Im prepared ahead of time) of the soap and 4 bottles of pills. I would definitely not take SP again however I would consider taking fenugreek or fennel. I don't know about wild yam however as I heard WY doesn't really do anything since it cannot convert.
I never had any problems with weight gain resulting from the program. In fact, I even lost two inches around my waist while my breasts got bigger. A friend even joked that the fat had migrated. lol. :)
If you gained weight and not an increase in breast size, maybe you should try the pills I'm taking: Breast Plus from Oral Labs. Here's the website: http://www.orallabshealth.com.
