I know i know there`s a seperate forum for BO but I asked this question there and girls who use BO could not come up with a straight answer. Here is the question. Does bovine ovary give estrogen or progestrone. It seems like even they don`t know what they`re supplying their body with. Bountiful breasts` web site says their product is progestrone based, girls in the BO forum say it can`t be, that it must have estrogen. I`m confused. The reason I ask this question is because if vitex doesn`t work on me in another two months(it`s been 2 months already so I`m giving it 4 months to show a difference)I`m thinking about trying BO. I don`t want to use anything that raises estrogen levels cause I`ll get acne. Just wondered if girls in this forum would know the answer to this question.

Nobody seems too sure about what bovine ovary actually does, but ovaries make estrogen not progesterone.

I took it for a month or so and I did get quite a lot of pimples while on it. I use to not really get any pimples and so when I looked in the mirror and had like 15 of them on my face I wasn't very happy about it.
Everything I have taken for NBE has given me some kind of side effects. I read somewhere that Pueraria mirifica is suppose to be good for your skin and have good results with BE also, but who knows.
That is what I am taking now, we'll see how I do on it. I would definately check out the St Herb site if you do consider it, and if it's important to you, email them and ask about the acne. I do think BO probably does work for BE, my breasts do seem rounder, but I also had a very heavey period that lasted for 2 weeks. Then I ran out and had some St Herb so decided to go with that for now.
