Question to feary about vitex and nettleMarch 20 2007 at 1:21 AM | melosh (Login melosh) |
| Hi feary
Before my question just a quick reminder to you. I just started my 3rd pot of vitex so it has been around 55 days since I started using it. At around 5 weeks I started to have some deep sensations in my breasts if you remember and you said it`s a good sign. Right around that time I started taking nettle root and the sensations stopped but I didn`t pay attention to that cause I didn`t think nettle root would have an effect on vitex. One works on estrogen and progestrone and the other one works on lowering testostrone.
2 days ago I read an article posted on the info about herbs section and it says nettle root is believed to have estrogenic effects. I stopped taking nettle root 2 days ago and I can`t believe those sensations came back today.
Are you still taking nettle root with vitex and what would you say about my experience? Hugs and kisses...:) |

Hmm, you might have a valid point melosh. Do you still have the link to that article?
I'm still on the 1st pot of nettle root but have just finished a period and have lost a bit of fullness. Nothing drastic or anything. I have been working out hard every day and doing the gym 3-4 days a week.......and have started the Apple Cider Vinegar Diet, so it is possible that all the extra exercise and dieting is effecting my growth right now.
Will quit taking the nettle as from tomorrow and report back what happens. You keep me posted too. It sounds like you are back on track again :-)
Happy blossomings!
Love

psshhh! I had switched to nettle root instead of SP and definately noticed a diminishing in the pains. This NBE thing is harder than a chemistry class!!! LOL I guess that is why it is so much easier if nature does it on her own! |

Hi feary and other ladies
go to info about herbs section on the main page of THIS website and click on nettle and read through, you`ll see. I think there`s only one post there about nettle so that`s the one. Thanks for the link to genes united. Take care. |

Well to be the odd man out, I haven't noticed any decrease in "signs" yet, but I have only been on Nettle Root for a couple days now. I would say though that I feel more pains taking it then I did without it. I just wonder if it comes down to what your body needs and doesn't need? Or maybe its too soon to notice.

When I researched on nettle, I came up with tons of info that nettle is anti-estrogenic and some that it's estrogenic. No need to say that I'm still thoroughly confused. :/ |
