The problem with EPO is that a) it is not as potent as other sources of GLA like borage and black currant oil, and b) it prevents swelling of the breasts, so it can seem like it is delaying growth at the beginning when most of the "growth" is due to swelling. I don't recall anyone saying it is BAD for NBE, just that there are better oils to use.
Those posts you must have read are the ones where women complained it may them not experience any luteal swelling but the truth is you don't WANT luteal swelling anyways as its just diceiving (like wtaer retantion in your breasts).
Many women have used it and while yes it is not highest in GLA it is still quite popular and the benifits of the GLA in EPO and others is not only good for NBE but your body's well being overall.

I noticed that my breasts never went back down to their normal size after my period arrived. I wondered what was going on since I knew I wasn't pregnant. Then I remembered that I had been taking Evening Primrose (1000 mg). I did a little research and found out that Evening Primose may also affect estrogen levels, which in turn can cause swollen breasts. Just an F.Y.I.
