Allright someone explain this one to me because now I am thoroughly confused. I have new stretchmarks appearing on my smaller boob, BUT its not measuring any different, it doesn't even feel different!!!!! The only thing different is they look rounder and my a -bras aren't fitting quite right, but this isn't anything new. I thought when I saw them last night it was because I was tired, but this morning they are still here. And why are there stretchmarks even appearing if they have already stretched way bigger then this twice before??????
I would assume stretchmarks equal growth but this would be pathetic growth......And I was also keeping them well lubed to prevent this from happening!!! What is going on?
too much estrogen can cause stretchmarks to develop. I have read that in articles and have been told that by several dermatologists, as I myself have stretchmarks and have tried to deal with them. A lot of women on the pill will get stretchmarks even if they don't gain weight or grow in any way. It is just a hormonal thing unfortunately. What herbs are you taking out of curiousity? I have some suggestions for helping the appearance of stretchmarks that made a big difference in my skin if you are interested. If you have the money, lasers make a huge difference in stretchmarks. I have spent money on lasers and I found it worth the money. But everyone is different. If your stretchmarks are new, I would go out and get a Retin-A prescription. Retin-A can actually almost reverse a new stretchmark. But I have a massage technique that is pretty simple and involves st. ives apirct scrub, safflower oil, and a bit of water i think, as well as one of those knobbed massage tools, and it made a huge difference in my skin. And my stretchmarks are bad. You can bring color back into them much the same way retin-A works on new stretchmarks. It is an E-book I got onlineout of desperation, but it happened to be the only thing other than lasers that has worked. Noticed a huge difference in firmness and texture. Let me know if you want the instruction - they are long, but when I have the time, I could write them on here or email them to you.
Is it safe to say that if you never got any stretchmarks during weight gain or multiple pregnancies that you are deficient or not in excess of estrogen? just a thought. any thoughts for or against would be appreciated.
try this thread i knew some one else had said they got stretch marks for no reason it may help good luck henri

Sophie - I would love the info - I think it might best if it were posted in the general info section or something like as others might find it useful. So let me know whenever you are able to get it up!!
Herbs are: Vitex, Fennel, Fenugreek, Nettle Root - sometimes Kava - but that isn't for NBE. Been on the Vitex since Dec. and the other since about 2 wks ago.
Thanks for the thread Ginger - I might try the body brushing again, its going to be painful though as my boobs are quite tender and sore, warm water is the only thing that is allievating them currently - long showers!!! The cream I use also has Vit. E in it, but I might try adding some extra - I don't know what to do. Dh says its not a big deal, but I am stressing. My boobs already have about a dozen or so marks on them from nursing, I didn't want to add more.
I am pretty sure they are new ones, as all of mine have been silvery looking, and these 2 are a pale pink! Also I only got stretchmarks with my second pregnancy when I put on about 55 lbs in about 4 months (long story) - I got them on my butt and boobs and like I said its about a dozen on each side, both top and bottom :-p
henri...i definately will! it will take me a while though since i am in the middle of research, but i will definately get it up for you and others. it is sort of lengthy and detailed, which is good, but it easy enough to do. since the info comes from an ebook - i don't know what sort of copyrights are on it if any. i can look. it is very simple and i printed it off oh...probably four or five years ago. it really helped me. she mentions specific products, but they aren't necessary - they are just what she used, and they can be found in any drugstore or supermarket. i will use descriptions of the exfolient scrub you will need, etc. and suggestions of my own that i used. it would be unlikely, but i don't want to get in trouble for copyright infringement! my father has an intellectual property law firm...maybe i'll ask him!
Sophie, does your method work on stretchmarks on the outer thighs too? I have them for years now, and I absolutely hate it. They are pretty severe and there's a LOT of them... I wish there would be something 'natural' that would finally work...
mayu - i only tried it on my breasts, but the method is recommended for wherever you have stretchmarks. the women who developed the method had really bad stretchmarks on her stomach and there was a huge difference. i noticed a really great increase in firmness and tone in my skin. basically you work by getting bloodflow back into the stretchmarks so that they aren't white....and by doing this in certain time frames, you can get the stretched skin to act more normally and look more normal. i will post it when i have a chance...but right now i am not online that much, am in the middle of research, and the technique is LOOOONg! but it works on new and old stretchmarks. i definately recommend if you have new stretchmarks to go straightaway to a dermatologist and get a prescription for retin-a! it has been proven to help reverse new stretchmarks. you may want to cover your bases with that as well, henri.
Sophie - I would do any routine no matter how long or complicated to get rid of those strechmarks. I will eagerly await your method, please let us know when you have it up! Thank you soooo much!!!
Sophie - Ummm, I just read your other post, after I posted my thing above, so sorry about that...
I will try St. Ives Apricot scrub. I used to use it on my face, and it felt really good. Now that I heard that it might help, I will definitely give it a try too. I hope it will help.
mayu...if you have 15 dollars to spare...buy the ebook off of the link i mentioned. read the post again, cos i posted more information about it and the ingredients you need, along with the ebook link. after looking at the ebook again after years, i realize it is far too complicated to explain - it is 12 pages long...or was five years ago when i purchased it. the routine in the ebook is very well planned and based upon a lot of tweaking she did to get it right. i hope it works for you. let me know if you try it.
