thinking of switching routine....

I am thinking of switching my routine from individual herbs to WU for a couple reasons:

+I have so many herbs going into my system I think it's too many to work.
+I am doing bad keeping up with taking all my herbs, many times I miss a dose or decide to skip a day because I don't feel like carrying around a pocket full of capsules when I'm away from home.
+I think the growth I've had so far might all be in my head (I think I see it just because I'm looking for it. I will post pictures in a week or two and you can decide).
+I'm not having any pains or swelling.
+Everyone else seems to do great on WU (especially those around my young age).
+Two pills three times a day is a lot less complicated.
+I am short on money and I think WU would be cheaper than a bunch of different herbs.

I will decide on my three month mark (April 13th). My plan is to do a cleanse then stay on Vitex for a little while to balance out my hormones. Who knows, maybe that's all I need to do! My only fear is that my Crohn's is going to go back into flare-ups and I'm going to deal with the same problems. I will continue to take SN and FG along side of WU if I decide to go that route.

Two questions:

Has anyone who has switched between Individual Herbs and WU found one to be a lot cheaper? (I am taking about 6 or 7 different herbs, so I buy $60 worth of pills and creams every couple of months.)

How long does it take to begin seeing results with WU?

Hey Madison

sorry if u haven't had any growth yet, but remember 3 months is nothing anyway.

ive been 3 months on my nettleroot and fennel routine and cant decide either whether i have had growth or not.
i do get pains and swelling and now it seems a bit has stayed but as u said it could be only in my head.

strange thing is i have missed fennel cos my delivery is late but i still get the pains which makes me wonder if i need it at all.

about wondreup i was on it for 6 months and absolutely nothing happened. so according to the pains i have now i might be able to see smth maybe soon. will see.

i wish you some more persistance to keep up with your routine and for some reason i think better with individual herbs than any formula

fingers crossed

Bonnette

I don't think anyone can answer the question about how long it takes to see results with Wonderup. I noticed recently a couple of girls got really quick results with it, but I did not see anything at all for 58 days. But once I got going it was pretty steady progress after that.

Hi Madison - sorry to hear things aren't going to well - have a couple of thoughts for you.

I viewed your program page and see you are taking alot of herbs in higher doses, so I am wondering if you possibly have stalled already. Hopefully someone a little more knowledgable can take a look and give their thoughts.

I understand that there are some herbs you need to take for the Crohns, so we can't play with those, but maybe you need to do a week cleanse, I don't think a weeks cleanse will have too much of an effect on your progress so far. And then just stick with a very basic NBE plan and avoid all the "extras" you have been taking. If in a week you haven't noticed anything, then ramp up slowly - I think there is a good model of how to ramp up over on the BeBoard, I'll see if I can find it.

As for cost, I think that you will still be cheaper in the long run with single herbs, then doing the Wonderup. I would take what you spend in a 3 month period on single herbs and divide it buy three months - and see what your monthly total is and compare it to a month of Wonderup. That is really the only way you will know about the cost difference.

Also remember on top of everything - that the Vitex works best with a very low dose of herbs; and it takes a few months to work. And alot of us have experience some shrinkage in the first few months, but things seem to be levelling off if not heading the right direction again.

Either way, if you decide to drop the single herbs and go with wonderup - I strongly suggest doing a 2 week cleanse inbetween, just to give your body a break.

thanks everyone for your help. I will still wait till the 3 month mark before deciding anything, as I know many people dont see results until then, even long after. If you think I should drop some of my herbs, which ones would you recommend?

in my routine:
Fenugreek (helps with crohns)
Stinging Nettle
Wild Yam
Cayenne (using for raising body temp and better circulation)
Hops (helps crohns i think)
Borage Oil
Blackstrap Molasses (for hair)
horsetail (hair)
Multi

(a lot of what I said I was adding in my program page I either never added in or it didn't work with my crohns)

It's so hard to think of what to take out as every one is surving an important purpose
Wild Yam and the herbs for my hair (which I'm desperately trying to grow out thanks to a bad haircut) are the only ones I would do... since every other one is needed. That's why I figured wonderup would be so much easier since it's all the herbs I need all in one pill. Now I'm reading all these not so great reviews on this forum....*sigh* so confusing. I really need to learn to love my body.

and also, what would you suggest taking for my break? I don't think I can do the Milk Thistle - i read its not great if you have GI problems... Maybe the lemonade diet but I don't know how well that would go for me either.

@Jessica - Are you stressed? I'm doing a kind of surwey about stress and not growing.

Madison - just google liver herbs, read up on them and decide which one would be the best. Oh, and also look into glutathione supplement, I think that might be good.

I was thinking to do the same, but I will probably give the herbs routine a good try first. Then I might try WU. I dunno why herbs aren't working for me, it feels like my body gets used to everything really fast.
