My first baby fed continuously on the left breast which caused it to grow larger than the right. I was hoping the problem would correct itself after losing 40 lbs, but no such luck. It's driving me nuts. The left breast is constantly falling out of my bra.
I was hoping to fix this problem without surgery. My best guess is to take some type of hormone to induce lactation and start pumping milk (using the Avent pump)on the right only to increase the size of the breast tissue.
I started this process when my second child was born, but I gave up becase I have grown to hate breast feeding.
Many women here have the same issue and find that with the process of NBE the smaller one often eventually catches up with the larger one. If not, some do extra "work" on the smaller one to bring it along, like extra creams or massages or things like that and then they often even out. Good luck!
Do some extra work on the smaller side. I had the same problem, my kids would latch onto my right more then my left, but my right side is the smaller one, and my left one had lots of infections in it for that reason.
Try massaging - just keep in mind that the side you massage more might end up more firm then your other side.
