I don't live in BC but I'm worried they'll soon get over to my province and say our bottles are bad too. I only drink bottled water and I'm sure alot of other people do too so I thought I would share this story as it relates to estrogen:

"The chemical, which can mimic the effects of the hormone estrogen in cells, has been surrounded by controversy."

http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071207/hl_nm/health_plastic_dc

Has anyone ever heard of this "bisphenol A" chemical? I know nothing about it...

Hopeful what type of bottled water to you drink? Because they are some brands out their that are no better then tap water or worse since bottled water isn't under as strict of levels as tap ~ which to me is just plain gross. The bottled water I drink is filter using the hosmosis (sp) method, and its actually not that expensive. Plus there are a few others. I'll find my list and post them for you.

I have heard of the chemical, but I can't remember what it does, so let me pull some of my books and see if I can find the answer for you.

Don't worry I know about the brands that are realy filtered tap water.. to me they taste so awful (aqua fina, dasani)... I normally drink "Real Canadian's Natural Spring Water" or Nestle's PureLife water.

That's one of the great things about London - you can happily drink the tap water knowing it must be safe as it's been through 5 people before it gets to you!

Another retailer removes their plastic bottles:

I never liked that lululemon store anyway but still I had to share...

Green Tea

December 20 2007, 1:27 AM

I just came across a different news story about drinking green tea:

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071219/ap_on_he_me/japan_green_tea;_ylt=AsZtYzDlmYUzRWXkBiE8suKs0NUE

It says that it may have helped in reducing the testosterone in men! Does anyone think this could be similar to how saw plametto helps with our testosterone problems and such? Let me know what you all think.

Hopeful-
I'm actually going to add Green Tea Extract [in capsules] to my NBE routine. Do you know if it'd be alright to do that and gain boobage if you are estrogen dominant and/or trying to balance out your hormones??

Yup I can't see why it would negativily affect NBE at all (except for the caffeine part but meh what's one cup gonna do!) I drink green tea on occassion but use to drink alot more, besides NBE its just an amazing thing for our overall health I believe :)
