I get those too, it sucks.
I don't really know anything else to do EXCEPT drink lots of water and cranberry juice. Maybe exercise? It's the worst feeling, I know. I used to get medication from the hospital for that, UTI's and such. I don't know what it's called but it makes you pee orange and after like 2 days it's so much better. Maybe go to your Gyno. No idea.

Sorry dear, whenever I feel like something funny is going on with me I just drink craberry juice and it goes away... Here is a website I just found quickly that lists some info about herbal remedies for bladder infections (look around on the site)

http://www.thenaturalbladder.com/p5d1.html

I'm sure there's probably more links just try search on yahoo or google "bladder infection natural" or something like that :) Hope this helps

Not sure what country you're in but in the UK you can try Cymalon - not sure what' in it but you mix the powder with water (it's quite tasty actually!) and drink it I think 3x daily for 2 days.

If you get recurring UTIs you should see your doctor as it may be a sign of something else underlying.

Also, and I'm not putting this as a question so don't feel you need to offer any info one way or the other, but sex can bruise your bladder and cause what's know as 'honeymoon cystitis' so that may be one to watch.

Oh my gosh.
WOW, I've NEVER heard of that. Bruises your bladder?
Everytime I have sex I usually ALWAYS get a UTI and it's painful peeing. But I heard the girl is supposed to pee BEFORE and not after she has sex... and the guy is supposed to pee after sex. I don't know how true this is... but that's how you NOT get UTI's.

"Honeymoon cystisis"---That doesn't stay forever now does it?

That's because the full bladder is larger and therefore more likely to get bruised.

Jackie do you want to email me so I can be more specific?!?! Email's optom1982@hotmail.co.uk

i have a bladder infections every few years . it often goes away with masses of water and after your periods ( for some unknown reason) . if it continues over few weeks you will need antiobotics ( not joking argh ) cause you can get fever from bladder infection.

Unfortuantly the only thing I think you can do for a bladder infection is cranberry juice and water to flush it out, and possibly seeing a dr. for some meds. You don't want that infection going to long or it can cause other problems. Another suggestion is to get cranberry pills, and take them as well.

If I had a bladder infection, or any other infection, and decided that I would not see a doctor for antibiotics (which works well but your immune system takes a hit)
I would take 3 tsp X three times daily for 10 days of this:

You need to go pee after "playtime", not just before. the umm stuff can go in the wrong place and that causes UTI, both yours and his "stuff". So ALWAYS go pee right after.
