Ok, so I am sorry if this is a stupid question, but are stretch marks a definate sign of growth? Because I have stretch marks (very lightm on the inner part of both breasts) where I know I had none before, but my tape measure does not say I am any larger. What does this mean? Any help is, as always, greatly appreciated. Thanks so much.
In my experience, stretch marks appear several weeks to a few months after the skin has been damaged, so you may want to bear this in mind. Similarly, stretch marks are as much a sign of loss of tissue as gain.

Thank Suzy. That makes sense because I have grew and inch and a half over the last two months, but havnt grown any in the last two weeks or so, and the stretch marks showed up a few days ago, so I guess it was a delayed reaction. Thanks again....
Yeah I had the same problem. And they didn't get larger on the measuring tape.
But that's true too, I forgot that if you lose weight you can still get stretch marks.
