hi I'm new here and glad to find this board! I'm a little conusfed though and there is so much info on here it's a little overwelming. According to the hormone tests I am estrogen dominent or low progesterone. I am having trouble peicing together the most advisable NBE's to use for this. I know everyone is differant and differant things work but i dunno i guess iwas kinda looking for a list of things that are more advisable for this side of the hormonal imbalance.
If anyone could help point me in the direction of a thread or tell me their own exsperience or knowledge it would be much appreciated.

I was considering going on depo for other reasons previous but I am wondering, depo is progesterone only is my understanding so if I went on depo" in theory " if my small boobs were the result of lack of progesterone in the long run it should correct this I guess ? but then when I got off depo i'm guessing without some kind of progesterone replacement or something they would deflate again?

BTW if it matters I am a small 32b, and at 25 , even wearing the right size bra and having no children, find gravity trying to take it's toll. I am not trying to get giant knockers, I'm trying to gain a full, firm 32c. When I was in highscholl i was actually a 36D and one day, well it's like they just ra away while I was asleep or something, cause at the time I hadn't gained or lost any weight at the time started any differant exercises or anything, they just started shrinking.

sorry i know that got long, just very confused and excited to find this place.

thanks!

It's answered in the newbies section, topic about the hormone imbalances.

Just read the forum and use the search function when you have a specific question. If you're estrogen dominant, a progesterone only pill would definitely be better as estrogen migh even worsen your symptoms. It's possible that it would make your breast grow too, but for some reason that doesn't happen very often with BCP, eventho it balances the hormones. Maybe BCP is just not enoguh. BCPs actually contain rather small doses of hormones, much less than people usually think. So herbs have a much better sucess rate.

Hi Rain,
The thing about Depo and other artificial progesterone is that it is not the same as our natural progesterone and will not have the same effect.

Progestin (artificial progesterone) is a molecule that mostly resembles testosterone. In the hormone world, shape of molecule is very meaningful. Although the progestin molecule can attach to the progesterone receptors its effect does not do exactly what natural progesterone does. You will not balance your estrogen dominance with artificial progesterone.

I know it is a difficult and complex subject to grasp all at once. Balancing estrogen dominance and NBE can be done together, but if you are strongly estrogen dominant you will have to focus on bringing balance to your body before you will get much out of NBE.

Do a search on the forum on Estrogen Dominance - do a google search and see what information is out there in general. Read the works of Dr. John Lee. This will give you the information you need to know how to balance your hormones.

Best wishes,
waxingmoon
