I was wondering if anyone knows how long herbs stay in your system. I'm wondering specifically about fennel and SP, say about 500 mg each. I don't want to take another pill if there is still some in my system! Thanks :)

It depends on how frequently you take them. If you take herbs just once they should be out of your system within 3 days. If you take them twice it could take 4 days. If you take them regularly it can be much longer, a week or more, or even a couple of weeks. That's why when someone is due to have surgery they are always told by the hospital to stop taking any herbs at least 2 weeks before the date of the operation.

Thanks Molly. I guess I'll stick with my dosages of every 8 hours or so; I thought they just completely digested within a few hours, like food!
