I decided to not use wonderup as I had origionally planned. I have an allergy to pollen, and I tried to talk to one of their representatives about my concern- and they didn't seem to be able to give me the answers I was needing. They actually just stopped returning my e-mails, so I decided to go a different route as they did not make me feel very comfortable about using their product. Of course I want larger breast, but I also NEED a patent airway :)
So, I am following Eve M's program with dried, powdered herbs. I found a webisite www.botanical.com
It says their herbs can be bought in bulk, and they are organic. I am very skeptical about purchasing things over the internet, though.
Has anyone ever used this site, or is anyone willing to check it out to see if you feel it is a legit seller?
Some of the herbs under the bulk section say Egypt or India beside them (I'm assuming this is where they are grown). Would this make any difference to how potent they are, or the quality of the herbs?
Nearly everyone here that uses Wonderup gets it from Vortex Health, who have excellent customer service. They answer all enquiries the same day and I've not heard of anyone having problems gertting information.

This was just my personal experience. I sent my emails to Vortex Health, and they information was not helpful.
I'm not trying to upset anyone, I am simply asking for help.
I'm not sure who you were e-mailing, but it wasn't Vortex Health. The reason I know this is that the question you were asking is a particularly simple one that Vortex Health would have answered in full and by return. It's a standard question that they would have been asked a fair number of times before and it would only have needed one e-mail to completely answer it for you. You probably don't realise how simple your question is.

I agree, it's a really simple question. They probably have a standard answer ready on their computer for things like that, which they could e-mail immediately. As you said, she probably doesn't realise how simple the question was.
First off let me say one thing: I thought this forum was a place where you could go to find information and ask upon others for answers you may not have- which all I have done.
I don't not find it appropriate, or helpful, to respond to someones message and basically call them a liar for telling their personal experience. I know for a fact that it WAS vortex health that I sent an e-mail, 3 of them actually.
I know who I e-mailed, who e-mailed me back- and what information was and wasn't provided to me. I in turn took the (lack) of information I recieved, and made the decision I felt was appropriate for my situation, and took a different nbe route. Perhaps I had a new rep from Vortex Health respond to my questions? I'm not sure, I just know what happened, as I was the one who read the e-mails. Last time I checked, I had the right to tell about my experience- in fact, I thought that was what this forum was for.
I really don't want to come off bitchy, but I feel like I am being judged as none of these replies have done nothing but tell me how wrong I must be.
I apologize if I am getting the wrong vibe from you ladies, and if that is what has happened I truely am sorry.
I have not used botanical.com, but looking at their website I would say it is worth a shot. The site looked well put together and I was able to search through quite a bit of information.
As far as whether you could trust them with your credit card... probably if they have secure check out then you would be just fine. I have only had one problem using my card online and that seemed to be linked to DNE vitamins. They had someone hack into their database of info and some thieves got my card number and ran up some charges. This is the kind of thing we have to face if we use credit cards on the internet.
However, I don't know if that is why you are skeptical about internet purchases or not (my ordeal certainly left me skeptical...). If your concern is about quality of the product, they seem to address that on their website. I found a link to a quality control section on their site.
As far as where the herbs come from - I don't think it is a matter of potency, but a matter of wholesale price. Every business must have this thought in their bottom line or else they won't stay in business.
You never know until you try. Keep the order small to begin with would be the best advice.
"Last time I checked, I had the right to tell about my experience- in fact, I thought that was what this forum was for."
Yes you have that right, but other people have the right to point out that there's something odd when a company usually regarded as very helpful all of a sudden apparently can't answer a very elementary question.

If you know what information was and wasn't provided to you, why don't you share it with us so that we can better understand what happened? Why tell only half a story? Since you wanted to relate your experience, why not tell us the whole story?
I don't see why it would be odd that VH&B for once wasn't helpful. I don't think it's good to extol them to some sort of infalliable status, they're not god, they're just a company, made of people, and it's impossible to do everything right.

It's reasonable to point out though that the question was an extremely simple one and therefore hard to answer incorrectly, and secondly that according to the above account they didn't even answer her e-mails. I think it's fair comment for people to point out that this does not sound like Vortex Health at all. Nobody's saying they're infallible, it's just a case of saying that for them not to answer e-mails would be quite remarkably strange, especially when the question was such a simple one.
I want to start off by saying thank you waxingmoon for an answer to my question- it was very helpful. I'm a little skeptical about buying things from the internet for both reasons- quality and having my credit card number out there (I too once had some issues with my information getting leaked out). And since I'm not as knowledgeable about herbs and their quality as someone like yourself, I really needed to know your opinion about them. Thanks!! :)
And also a thanks goes to Moon for helping point out that people do make mistakes, and it that occasionally a company slips below par.
And- to the rest: I wasn't trying to only tell "one side of the story." I honestly didn't feel it was THAT big of a deal, just my explanation of why I decided to take another route. I am done apologizing to you girls- if you don't like what I post- don't read it or respond. It is that simple. I don't feel I should have to explain myself this much- I especially don't feel I should have to go as far as to post my e-mails to win over your approval. That is just rediculous. Why are you girls sticking up for this company so much? As moon said, they are not god, and people make mistakes, but for some reason you would rather tell me I must be wrong than believe they may have slipped with ONE person. I (one person) decided not to use their product and stated out loud my dissatisfaction with the service I recieved. It *wasn't a big deal* for me, I didn't lose any sleep over it, just said "hey, this isn't for me." I am by no means saying no one should ever buy anything from them. Hell, I may buy something at some point, just not wonderup.
I've gotten my answer (again, thank you waxingmoon), and this post is now over. You can respond back if you would like- but I'm not going to be reading it. I am over this.

I think what's confused the issue here is the description of the question as being a very straightforward one, when in reality it was probably much more complex than it was made to sound. Questions about one person's own individual condition for example are notoriously difficult to answer with any real precision.
I work in customer services myself and I know that there are some questions to which there is no hard and fast answer you can give. Sometimes you answer a question as well as it can be answered, but the customer feels dissatisfied even though you have given them all information possible, as the customer does not really grasp that you can't give them information which doesn't exist. It's quite possible to really go the extra mile to try and help a customer and yet the customer still remains dissaisfied, for the simple reason that no answer you could give would ever have satisfied them. Sometimes customer services is an impossible job, because it can happen that no answer you can give based on the available evidence is going to make the customer feel they got what they were looking for and they will hold that against you.
It also happens of course that questions are answered entirely correctly, but the customer misunderstands something and is therefore dissatisfied because they simply didn't understand the information they were given.
If anyone has been reading this and wants to know the answer to the original question, regarding allergy (rhinitis/hay fever), the answer is that taking Wonderup or any other herbs or breast enhancing forumula will not be a problem if you have such an allergy, as this is a respiratory allergy and is caused by grains of pollen in the air you breathe in. There is nothing you can eat that will cause or aggravate hay fever.
Well I have a allergy to a specific kind of plant pollen called
Artemisia vulgaris (mugwort or common wormwood). But I am also strongly sensetive
to pollen, not enough to be classed as allergy, and I've been on WonderUp for
about a month now and I am happy to report that I have no problem with it. =)
Don't know about Botanical.com but if they ship international it will definatly chech it out.

Yes these kind of allergies are NOT caused by eating any herbs or plants or pollen grains. You can eat what you like, quite frankly, it won't trigger hay fever. It's only airborne pollen which can do that.
I don't want to perpetuate this thread, but as others have said you can only get hay fever through the air that you breathe, as it's an allergy of the mucous membranes in the nose and the tissues of the eyes.
