I've bought some natural progesterone cream and it says to apply it once or twice daily. Each full press of the pump dispenses 20mg of usp progesterone. How often do you apply your progesterone cream and how much mg?

Be very careful with the progesterone. It is not a straight forward thing and can cause you problems if mishandled.

First, the amount you use varies for many reasons. You should use ZERO if you do not have a need for progesterone -an actual deficiency. Progesterone will not give you easy access to breast growth. It can however help balance the relationship of progesterone to estrogen in you body.

If you have 'estrogen dominance' and choose to use progesterone cream then you need a guideline. The book by Dr. John Lee 'What your doctor may not tell you about premenopause' is an excellent reference - it will answer all your questions about when and how much to use.

If you use too little it can cause you worse symptoms. If you use too much it can cause you a whole list of other symptoms. If you apply it in the wrong areas it can be less effective. If you cycle is normal you use a certain amount at a certain time. If you cycle is abnormal you use it differently. ... As you can see this is quite a list.

Read up on this and you can use this substance safely. There are too many variables for me to answer your question completely. Your health is far to valuable to proceed with this substance without reading from one of the best at advising the use of progesterone cream. Get Dr Lee's book and you will be very satisfied with the answers provided there.

Thanx waxingmoon. I'm positve that i'm estrogen dominant. I'm going to apply it once daily, would applying the cream in the morning or night be best? Or doesn't it matter.

It is best to apply it morning and night. I have read that in dr. lees book about balancing homones..

Taking it morning and night means i'll be taking 40mg daily. one full press of the pump dispenses 20mg of progesterone, I don't want to be guessing and try and pump out 10mg twice daily. Hope I'm making sense.
