Did NBE a Couple of Years Ago...

Hello Ladies,

First off, I just want to wish you all good luck in your quests for NBE. I did it a couple of years ago and stopped because the herbs that I was talking were causing me to gain cellulite on my thighs.

I was using Saw Palmetto, Wild Yam and Fenugreek. Actually, it wasn't all of the herbs that caused the cellulite, I'm convinced that it was the Saw Palmetto. Anyways, even though I was gaining cellulite, my breasts did increase a little bit in size but not drastically.

Also, my skin, hair and nails were amazing! I think that the Saw Palmetto had alot to do with this as well. My hair on my head was growing like crazy and the hair on my body wasn't, which was great!

I want to achieve the same effects without having to take the Saw Palmetto. Does anyone know of a regimen or particular herb that will cause hair on your head to grow, slow down bodily hair growth and not increase cellulite??? I hope I'm not asking for too much here but I feel like it's possible. If you know, PLEASE respond to this post.

Thanks so much!

-Bonnie

Hi Bonnie!
From what I understand, Nettle Root is an alternative to Saw Palmetto. I think it is another androgen blocker, but doesn't cause the weight gain side effects that SP causes for some people. I haven't taken it personally, but I think if you do a search for it you will find some posts from people who have taken it.

Good luck!

FG made my hair grow faster, both estrgenic and testosterone blocking herbs may have that effect. Research other testosterone blocking herbs - nettle root is one, but there are also others and one may work better for you than the other. The prevailing opinion on WY nowdays is that it doesn't do anything for NBE, so don't recomend you to use it. You responded really well to NBE, it's too bad that you stopped. I think you didn't do enoguh research, as you could have easily solved the problem by switching SP, which is btw notorious for causing cellulite. Good luck!

You're right. I should have stuck to it for longer but I think I will get back on it. I really liked what FG, WY and SP did for me. I just felt great, ya know.

So do you suggest I start a new regimen of FG, WY and Nettle Root???

Thanks so much for your input by the way

Don't use WY, it does nothing. I think it would be good for you to try nettle root and pumpkin seed oil (both testosterone blockers). Also FG of course and you can add another estrogenic herb of your choice.

I've had the same experience with SP, but I think that cellulite is a small price to pay for the other effects I got... but that's just me! Good luck with your return to NBE, Bonnie! I remember you from when I was doing it last year. I took a break but now I'm back!

Panda, glad to see you coming back as well! I'm telling you... the SP, WY and FG was awesome for me!... I'm just going to substitute the SP with the Nettle Root b/c I'm hearing great things about it.. the only thing is.. i never understood the concept of "ramping up."... does that mean that I start off with a low dosage than at some point just double that dosage? or does it mean that I start off with a high dosage?

I hope this doesn't seem like too much of a stupid question! lol
