How much water are you drinking in a day?
I just started protein shakes about a week ago, and I've had no problem with constipation. I drink at least 3 full pint glasses of water every day, which is a LOT more than I used to drink before I started NBE.

It's a strawberry flavor protein shake. I take one scoop a day, blend it with about 8 oz soy milk and 1tsp of maca. I've been trying tho recap my diet and notice that I haven't been eating enough fiber so maybe that can just be it.

In my humble opinion, whey protein from cows that have been grass-fed (instead of grain fed) is the best type of protein that you can ingest. These cows are much healthier so you get a lot more CLA's (conjugated linoleic acid- very good for you!) and the ratio of omega 3 to omega 6 is much better in grass fed cows.
There are several protease enzymes in your stomach, pancreas and small intestines that are necessary for the digestion of protein into amino acids. It may benefit you to take a supplement containing these enzymes to assist you in digesting the protein.
Definitely try drinking more water with your shake.

I don't think my other post went thru anyways... the protein I take is whey protein, strawberry flavor. I take one scoop a day, mix it w/ soy milk, and 1tsp of maca. I think that maybe I haven't been eating enough fiber in my diet so been eating a lot of veggies and trying to down more H2O. Already my body feels different so I think something is working.
