Hi all,
I've been perusing this board for some time now (well, off and on for over a year). I'd really like to start on a program, however I don't really know where to begin. I'm fairly busy and I was sincerely hoping that I could put effort into a program---but not too much. For example, I noticed many women have bought pills from vitex and green bush and, along the way, enhanced these pills with "boobie foods", massage, affirmations. I was looking for something really, really easy to begin with.
Also, do you recommend I get any hormone tests before I begin? One of the things that concerns me is that each program seems to work slightly or not so slightly differently depending also on personal variables. For example, I don't have regular periods. I eat lots of fruit, don't drink, smoke, eat meat...but I also have irregular periods. The last menstrual period I had was back in late March, and the one before that was at the end of October 2008 (so about 5 months in between). Does anyone else have erratic/odd periods and success with a BE program?
Any information would be great and much appreciated.
I also have very irregular periods, I don't think this would cause any problems with NBE as long as your hormones are fairly balanced (you may want to do a hormone imbalance test, search for it in the main forum) But you may want to talk with your doctor about getting on the birth control pill because this will regulate your cycle if it bothers you. I got put on birth control years ago when i was young to regulate my periods and its much nicer to know when its coming rather then being surprised every few months!
as far as forming an easy program, it is trial and error, but you could start massaging whenever you have time during the day and taking herbs such as fenugreek, fennel and nettle root. doing this doesn't take up much time and can be very effective (and cheaper then buying a specific product) i've also heard great things about wonder up if you do want to buy a product.
Good luck!
