Does previous breast size help? And lactation ??

Hi,

I am new here and just starting to try NBE.

My stats- I'm 30, have 4 kids that were all breastfed for about 18months including a set of twins, and I now have less boobs than ever.

When I was about 14, my breasts were a full 32C/small 32D- but even bigger than that sounds because I should have been wearing 28 or 30 as the band size. I am very petite. At 15, they shrunk a little when I lost some weight due to illness and while I never fully recovered that size, I was still a solid 32C. After each child weaned, my breasts shrunk more than before and today I think I am about a 28B or 30A. I weigh pretty much the same as I did at 15. Do any of you know if having previously had naturally larger breasts is indicative of potential breast growth from NBE? My youngest has been weaned for almost 6 months and my breasts are not only smaller but seem to have almost completely deflated. It is such a letdown from the big 34DDs I always get when my babies have been young to slowly deflating to this.

I have started taking capsules of Saw Palmetto, Fenugreek, and Evening Primrose Oil. I also have been munching on some fennel seeds and chasing it down with water. I don't measure the fennel seeds and just grab a handful 2-3 times a day. It doesn't taste too bad and I sort of like it except for the texture. I also have been breaking open a fenugreek capsule, mixing it with some oil and doing breast massage with it. I don't think I can stomach eating chicken feet and I could never explain that to my husband, so I hope that isn't crucial to success. I had never heard of that before tonight. I only started a few days ago so I'm hopeful that in the next few months I'll see some difference. Being so small everywhere else too, losing my breasts has meant I can't even wear most xs or xxs women's clothes that have any sort of form fitting aspect to them. I've been reduced to picking up children's shirts in a medium or even 7/8.

My breasts already feel a little more tingly and burny. I'm a little concerned about inducing lactation, however. Has anyone had problems with that? I have always been able to squeeze out some milk since nursing my first child, but now with the breast massage and fenugreek, I am seeing more milk. And before doing any NBE if I expressed any "milk" it was more like yellowy early colostrum, and not white milk. Now I am seeing white milk right away. I'm not getting a letdown or anything, but it is concerning. I have always had an over supply while nursing and don't want to start leaking or having milk letdown when random babies cry!

I hope to learn from all of you and be able to cheer each of you on with your own successes. Seeing and hearing all of these success stories has made me so hopeful. Even if I can't get back to what I was, I would be just thrilled if I could gain an inch in size and make them look fuller.

I'm not sure if it matters if previous breast size play a role or not, I"m sure it doesn't matter. I was literally flat and grew 3 inches in a little over a month. It's about what you're doing NOW to grow.

good luck!

I would say that previously having bigger breasts would help as you know you can be that size as you have been it before. You just need to work out how to get it back. I also think the process could be quicker as your not starting from almost nothing like some are, just regaining what you had.
Just my thoughts :)
