Hey there,
I have had some weird symptoms building up over the years and I have self-diagnosed myself with having wilson's temperature syndrome. The symptoms for this are very similar to that of hypothyroid, but its not hypothyroid [I have had my thyroid tested every year for the last few years bc thyroid problems run in my family], although the low temperature has to do with the thyroid. I haven't seen a doctor for this because apparently, most doctors don't even know about it. Whether or not I have it, I definitely have low body temperature. I have been taking my temperature at various times during the day/night and its always low- below 98.2
my question is, does anyone know of a supplement that can help raise body temperature? One of the causes for WTS is a low T3 count. are there any kinds of natural ways to get T3? Not only will raising my body temp improve my health, but a low body temp is also bad for NBE, which could explain why this hasn't really been working out for me.
That is interesting.I do not know alot about the thyroid, but I do have high metabolism.I am anemic and my normal temp range is usually around 96.5 to about 97.5.It has always been this way.I actually have a fever when it reaches 98.5-99.I also will have low blood count when my anemia comes out.Usually when sick, stressed, etc.I do my best to keep it in check.I will get very pale in the face, too when my anemia is acting up.I am usually olive-like complected.
Anyway,in May I started taking cayenne pepper fruit capsules----I got them at Wal-Mart.100 count for like $2.94.This has really helped.I discovered it through a post while researching.I started those around the same time that I started my internal PM.That is when my growth really took off.I guess the combination of the cayenne with the PM and other herbs really was the 'trick'.Cayenne is warming,so it also helps with circulation and circulating the herbs. My feet and hands used to stay cold all the time. Most of the time now, they are very warm to the touch. My complexion on my face is more flushed-----not red or anything, just nice and healthy.
This may help you.I hope so because your post just gave me an ah-hah! moment about my program.Good luck!
Im glad you posted this. I just looked up this syndrome. I have checked my temperature twice since you posted this, as I have all the symptoms. My temperature fluctuated between 96.44 and 97.02 :S! Now that I think of it I have noticed that I have always had a low body temperature. Even when I am feelin sick and think I may have a fever I always checked and mayve normal or slightly higher than normal body temperature.
I would also be interested in hearing ways of raising body temp and natural ways of raising T3.
I think I am going to discuss this with my doctor.
Thanks again for posting this!
