Hey ya'll! i just had to share with you all that my daughter had her baby yesterday. Rebecca Laise was born on 8/28/09 at 7:58 am. She weighed 8 pds 1 oz and is 20 1/4 inches long. She is absolutely beautiful! Laise (as i plan on calling her) got hung up on the pelvic bone so after almost 2 hrs of pushing and alot of pain for my daughter(it was so freakin hard to watch her be in that much pain and not being able ot take it away...at one point i walked away from the bed and lost it, however had composed myself in time for the next contraction) they decided she needed some help. SO out came the salad forks(as i like to call them) and the Doc pulled her out. OMG! How amazing it was to watch! Little Laise has a bruise on either side of her face but they have already begun to fade. She has a full head of black hair(not sure where that came from) and she is so good. That little girl already has me wrapped around her finger! When she came out I cried so hard and everytime i looked at her yesterday or thought about her i cried. Today i got a tear in the corner of my eye but i have maintained. This Grandma thing is better than words could ever describe! I'd always heard that becoming a Grandma was more emotional than becoming a Mom and damn if that ain't the truth! I have felt high for the past 36 hours and i didn't even smoke any of the funny stuff! I am truely blessed!
CONGRATULATIONS,LAISE!!!!!!!!! I am so happy for you! Your excitement brought tears to my eyes.Sorry I haven't emailed you-----I have been so busy and knew that you would be,too! I also knew it was getting close to time.I am calling you tomorrow.I will call you in afternoon,as I have PT tomorrow morning.

Laise,I'm having a nice stiff drink for you tonight to celebrate your beautidul granddaughter!!!! If you break down and cry tears of joy,honey,you just go ahead.You've earned it and you deserve to be blessed.Enjoy your Little Laise! Tell your daughter congrats,too!!!
Cayden Elliott....how cool is that name?!!!!! i am so excited for you! Just wait till he gets here...you have no idea how awesome it is!!!!! i will keep him my prayers!

Thanks everyone!! This being a Grandma thing is so awesome!!!!! i can't get enough of her! I have had a constant smile on my face since she go here.....damn THIS is what life is all about! Nothing else matters! I may be laid off, have no money, but life is still wonderful! My whole life came into perspective when she was born.....
