• He actually faced the possibility of criminal charges for receiving stolen goods
• Sam actually had a close friend who worked in a repair shop
• On one of his recorded tapes, Sam actually mentioned how much it meant to him to has his friend's son hug him.
• Sam actually had numerous sales jobs, but his lack of success lead to severe frustration
• Sam actually applied for an SBA loan to finance his dream of creating a mobile tire store business. He actually came up with the idea of converting an old school bus.
• Sam actually thought very highly of the Black Panthers and actually made donations to them.
• Sam was actually inspired by the White House helicopter incident
• When Sam stormed the plane, he actually shot the co-pilot and grabbed a woman hostage before being shot through the plane's window.
