Writer/Director Niels Mueller likes the film's comparison to Death of a Salesman the most. He says that Sam Bicke's comparison to Willie Loman is a favorite. Someone described Sam as "Willie Loman with a vengeance."Tthe director goes on to say that Sam, like Willie, is a man who believes in the American Dream and in his right to own a piece of it. Sam, like Willie, is a salesman, in need of a sale, and he too, turns from tremendous hope to utter despair on a dime.
