just like other Spanish colony we develop our own FilipinoSpanish w/c is very unique in any Spanish speaking countries we have our own usage & expressions:
Hoy! in Spanish it means Now! but in the Philippines it means: Hey!
Siempre Spanish means Always/Forever in the Philippines it means: of cousre
Querida means Beloved in Spanish but in the Philippines it has a different meaning: Mistress

in the Philippines they change the Telenovelas Title into simplified Spanish:
the Venezuelanian Telenovela La Mujer De Judas was change into Vino De Amor in Mexico & Altragracia in the Philippines.
Pasion De Gavilanes was change into Pasion De Amor
La Revancha change into Solita, Mi Amor
Peregrina into Doble Cara
Muñeca Brava into Monica Brava (they chage the original name of the Heroine from Milagros or chilito to Monica)
Amores Descarado into Dos Amores
also they converted some in English the Telenovela El Diario De Daniela was change into Danielas Diary (afraid that filipino might misunderstood it:Danielas Newspaper)
also in the Philippines they disregard the Querida in the Telenovela Maria Emilia, Querida for it coz some confusion if Maria Emilia was the other woman or mistress instead of being Beloved.
