My name is Debbie, I have a three year old, CJ, with trisomy 21. I am also a single mom. I have started working full time a month ago and I could really use some support. It has been a huge adjustment for both of us. I have had to pull him out of therapy till I can find a way to get him there, so of course I see changes already in his development. I guess I am feeling guilty but someone has to pay the bills. I have always been so active in everything that he does, or needs, now that has changed. If I could find a median I would be so happy. So glad that you found us. This is a great place to get info, share stories, and vent when you need to. Try not to be to hard on yourself you are doing the best you can.
I am Dani mom to 2 wonderful girls Sami who just turned 10 and my little Hunter Marie (2) who is the reason I am here. I am a single mom as well my husband passed away about 6 weeks before I had Hunter. Make sure you check out all that the site has to offer the who's who and the my story you will get to know alot about the wonderful people on this board.
