The doctor told me today, that even though the cardiologist won't say for sure, we are certain it is his heart causing all the problems. He is having a hard time, and really needing the help with oxygen. Now, will he get better, I don't know, I don't know what is going to happen. We may be in and out of the hospital till he is big enough to have the heart surgery. This time, all I know is, that he is not letting them wean him off the ventilator. And Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner. And, of course, I am a basket-case. I don't know how I am going to make it through this time and I feel all alone. All the words of encouragement on here really do help. Thank you guys again.

Spoke to the cardiologist today, he has pulmonary hypertension, so the asd murmur is helping and when the pneumonia goes away, we will figure out if the hypertension is from the pneumonia, or if we need to treat it. Until it goes away, we won't touch the asd.

SO I finally got some answers, and I feel a hell of a lot better!

Hoping little DJ is on the mend soon so you can figure out where to go. I am so sorry you are having to go through all this and I understand with the holiday's and all. Just know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dj is off the vent! And doing well! He'll have an EKG to determine if or when we can do the heart surgery. Hopefully ASAP, I'm anxious to get it done and get home! But he's doing good, and they know what they are doing. I'll try to always keep you guys updated. You guys mean so much too me, keep me from feeling too alone.
