hi im new ,im hoping someone just might be able to help,i have just aquired , what i was told was a year old colt registered new forest,no passsport(i know) and was handed his paper work to be registered he was sired by warren playaway, however on having him examined it looks more like he is nearer to two than one??
he has all the correct markings,he has not dropped yet i have contacted the society,and the vet is coming monday for a second aging,just wondered if anyone on here knew or has heard of him?
im starting to wonder if i have the wrong pony????

my 1 and 2 yr old are completely different, no way she could be mistaken for a 2yr old (still has a foaly tail). you got pics of your new baby?

Hmmm, I can have a flick through the old b.rd catalogues I have. He may have been bought through the sales, although the majority of the ponies aren't named.

yes he was bought at the sales last sept,he was registered to someone in sussex,who must have sold him on,i got him from someone else ,i have spoken to the breeder,and the society,my friend looked at him today(she also has some new forests) and said he looks on target for a yearold?

I don't supppose you know what lot number he was? Southern Counties Auctionners run a tracing service which I believe they charge for, but that would give you an idea.

I was at the sale in September but I didn't get a catalogue nor see any ponies go through the ring as William was only 10 days old at the time!
