Hiya! This is Colman my part bred new forest. I know he is one of farriers ramblers foals (note the exact same leg markings! He was born in 2006 and i would love to know what he is crossed with as he is huge!! He has a mahoosive head and will make 14.2 easily! Would love it if anyone knows what mum could be?! Sorry i am being a plank and cannot get the sizes right on some, i will pop some more on later where you can see all of him!

If he is on the part bred register, there is a chance that the mare was a forest mare, but just not registered.

Oh wow!! Yours looks so much like mine and his dad! It does say on his passport that his mum is a forest run mare, i am just curious as to what she is like! Here is colman now as a 2 year old (finally growing into that head!)

I think he was running the Holmsley area in 2005, so Solomon's mum will be there somewhere. Who was the breeder? If you get in touch they may remember him.

Oh he's lovely looking and a great size! No advice from me, though i've just managed to speak to my boys breeder - he's 2 now and it was lovely to natter to her about his Dam. She sounded genuinely pleased to hear from me and about my boy too.

Oh my word! He is like a twin to mine! Same cheeky glint in the eyes! Has your boy got a naturally short mane or is it pulled? Col's mane just does not grow! Its same size as it was as a yearling! How big is he too? He looks a biggie aswell! Ruth x

I do pull his mane, otherwise it is a frizzy mess! Being a part bred its not essential to have a longer more natural mane, thank goodness otherwise it would be an afro.. Basil is 14.1. i like your boy very much, he's going to make a really nice pony!
