me and my friend are going to soon be buying a new forest pony to break and bring on, i have been on the beaulieu road sales website and it all looks so confusing so basically i need advice on what to do, where to buy and what to look out for as new forest ponies aren't my speciality!!!

hi there its all confusing i did that but now have my chappy up for sale as its really hard work, his advert number 20566 hes so lovely but needs a stronger hand, funny though i only bid for him cause no one else did, wasnt sure why however i have found out because he has white socks not good for new forest showing,apparantly anyway good luck i hope you find something to suit you,

wel spent a long time yesterday on the internet and ringing people, was interested in going on the 14th sarah but i have training for my new job so am not abe to take the day off plus won't be ready til about the end of september. my fried got a nf colt from a breeder/stud in the nf for £300 ad we are looking at upto £800 to buy.

The best sales to go to are the September,October or November when there will be lots of ponies to see and buy if you like them.The catalogue is on the web site about a week before each sale or you can buy one on the day.When you arrive at the yard go to the sales office and collect a buyers card,then all you have to do is choose your pony and bid for it when it comes into the ring.The Forest Bred list on this site will have more ponies going on as we get nearer to the Autumn.Hope this helps.

Ha, here we go!!

yes i had saffy for two years after me and sarah (sars.b) shared her for a few months. She is a completely different horse now, she is traditional and is schooling well as wel as being able to cnter without almost falling over in a school!!!
