Does anyone have any information about the Brookshill Ponies, in particular Brookshill Brumby and Brookshill Royal?
What are their foals like? What are the stallions like? Does anyone have any photos of the stallions, apart from the ones on the newforestpony.com website, which are really small.
Does anyone have foals bred from these stallions, if so what are they like?
Any information would be fab, as i'm a newbie to the forest breed - i'm more used to big hairy cobs!
hi tigatoo, i have a roan yearling colt by brookshill royal, he is a very sweet boy very well mannered, currently 13hh so will hopefully push 14hh when grown up, i think royal is over 138cm but dont know exactly how big. 1st pic is of my yearling and also some pics of his sire that someone put on here a while ago.

I have a 4 yr old by Royal.............he's very sharp but really flashy but was very 'difficult' as a foal.............he has grown into a really lovely lad (looks a bit dishevelled at the mo as most of his mane is on my bloomin fencing and he normally has a lovely thick crinkly mane courtesy of his daddy ) but I suspect he will always be more sensitive than my others although he is incredibly willing and absolutely adoreable and soppy and loves kisses
my filly is by brumby and is fab, shes so bold and brave and so affectinate. hopefully she will stay that way. although ive had a few foresters ive not encounterd these bloodlines before so cant help to much. i also would love a pic of brumby, i believe he was 2nd in his class at the breed show this year
sorry the pic isnt great will get more soon

He's just under 13.2hh at the moment. He's quite a fine build aswell but he is starting to fill out abit now.

Don't know how big she is I'm afraid. She can't be that big if she's on the forest. Her name is Fernyknap Blue Haze.
I don't know how big Brumby is either and I can only find one picture of him. It would be nice to find some pics of him at the breed show. I think he came 2nd in his class.
