In theory they can keep on growing until they're about 6 years old. However, not all their growth is upwards, some of it is filling out and getting longer in the body. Some ponies stop growing upwards as early as 2 years old, some can still grow a bit more at 6.

So the answer is that nobody can be certain how big your pony will end up - you're just going to have wait and see!

To be honest, there's no way of telling. I bought a 5 year old 13.3 gelding. We measured him with a proper stick before we bought him. 18 months later when we sold him (sadly wasn't the right one for my daughter) he was 14.1. My other daughters gelding was 5 rising 6 and measured 14.2 with new shoes on. I can't get him to measure over 14.1 with new shoes on now (he is rising 9 currently), so try and explain that one!

I think there's plenty of growing time left for your girl...

It could well grow heaps yet! But, as said, on the other hand it could stop, too! Sunny has grown a good 3 inches in the past 15 months - from 3+ to rising 5.

Ozzie's only just finished growing upwards and he's 5. His shape seems to change constantly because of developing muscle tone.

I'm sure your pony will change a lot over the next two to three years. That's the exciting bit of buying a youngster!!! (Take lots of photos every few months so you can monitor development.)

If hes fed well I would think he will make 14'2hh/14'3hh.

I brought my boy at 2 years old, at supposed to be 14'2hh I think he was more 15hh, He is not rising 6 and 17hh!
