I had one with them. I used calf castrating rings on them and they dropped off. It depends where they are located as to whether you can band them easily or not.
im using camerosa cream at the mo, oscar is two he has one on his brow kind of below his ear and one at the top of his hind leg, have had lots of different advice lol
I had photos sent to Liverpool vets .They were treated with Liverpool cream about 5 times by vet and 6 years on no reoccurance.I would
recommend seeking the advice from your vet.I have also avoided using
T tree and aloe vera in fly sprays ect since.I hope this helps.
When Roo came to us she had about half a dozen occult sarcoids (the flat, scaly ones) around her head, and a golf-ball sized fibroblastic one on he inside of her upper right foreleg.
Something about being out on our land (with all its various herbs / scrub / 'weeds') shifted them! The occults had totally cleared within a month, and the fibroblast dropped off about two weeks after that.
Unfortunately, she'd always stop eating if you tried to approach to see what it was she was choosing to much on - but whatever it was she was self-medicating on did the trick! We did notice that she tended to hang around the areas with goose-grass, tansy, thistle and nettle rather than just the straight grass - but it may not have been those she was eating, it could just as easily have been some tiny plant in the same habitat.
My pony had two last year - one near his sheath (small pencil-shaped) & a scaly one which was far too close to his girth for my liking. I have left the one by his sheath, but treated the one by the girth with thuja ointment (got this from a homeopathic distributors they made it up to the right strength). After about a week of treatment it started to get smaller & eventually disappeared altogether.
Almost forgot, I also added echinacea to his feed, as it's supposed to support the immune syatem (which, some sources say, may be implicated in the formation of sarcoids). This seemed to make him feel much perkier - an effect which has lasted(!) despite the fact that I stopped feeding it some time ago.

My young gelding has one on his chest, when i went to the vets for his annual booster jab, the vet said he would tie a band around it, next time he sees him, which will probably be next year now, so ia am keen to know of any other methods to help rid of it!! I am sure i read somewhere once about applying coffee paste to it??
