Looking to put my forest mare in foal next year, trying to find a stallion that is larger than 13.2 (my mares height) is a good allrounder but specially good at dressage as my mare is a good jumper so would like a combintion of the two!!!!. Any ideas or names of stallions or studs that i could look into
there are a few around but it doesn't have to be 14.2 to produce a big foal some of the smaller stallions ie elton {13.1} and jackpot{13.2}have produce big babies

Burley Branston
He is 13.3hh, but is graded elementary dressage, my mare has just had a filly foal by him, and she looks as though she is goin to be bigger than mum (13.3) and dad.
She is only 3months and her withers are just above mums point of shoulder!

Applewitch Pure Magic is lovely and seems to produce really nice progeny. He is a lovely person too.
There is a link to the stud's website on the breed society's website.

thanks judy, she is huge!!! i have pics of her on facebook thru the stages, she has shot up so fast!
Yes that is foal fluff, it doesnt seem to want to budge!!! She has no white marking on her.
Burley Branston is also a nice person, he has lovely temperament, is so laid back, but then i think he is lovely so i am biased!!

Best idea is to go to the Stallion Show in August & have a look at them all there then you can see for yourself in one go which stallion is most likely to complement your mare.
I recommend Elton - especially if you want something with free flowing paces. He also passes on his fantastic easy going temperment. All ours are lovely to be around.
