I've had Tommy a.k.a Farriers Field Day just over a week now and I thought I would formally introduce him and put pictures up for everyone to see.
He is a stud bred new forest yearling colt, by Farriers Field of Dreams out of Farriers Harriet.
After months of watching him grow up and trying to find the money for him I've finally managed to get him home with the help of Shirley and Simon Young (his breeders) and he has settled perfectly in to his new home with his field mates, my other two geldings.

when is he being gelded?

the week of the new forest show, so it depends how he looks after that wether we go to the breed show or not, he trotted up in hand yesterday around the sand school and was lovely, but it depends how he looks really

im sure he will look fine.

well he's having a growth spurt at the moment so hes looking a bit leggy and ribby, and he will probably drop back a bit when he gets gelded on monday so i think we are going to give it a miss this year, but we will be there next year and will be at cadnam shows and maybe the nfpec christmas show and their spring practise show

he was such a good boy today, he came in and was tied up and had a groom and his feet picked up, and then went in the stable for a bit and had a walk round the school and then went back out to his field past a tractor and a digger and a trailer lol
