We have just bought this beautiful colt foal. He is 2 months old today and we look forward to his arrival in the autumn. He lives just down the road from us so we will get to watch him grow up over the summer. He is a stunningly beautiful boy with wonderful paces. I even got his picture with no feet on the ground at all, so yes, he does have an amazing floaty movement. He is incredibly friendly and is currently at home with his dam while he is halter trained. I gather that he is finding it all rather fun. His dam is Burley Dunlin and his sire is Peronne Palaver. We are thrilled and very grateful to Gill Wright for allowing us to buy him. He will be my birthday present to my husband in October.
Look, no feet on the ground required!
Well, maybe just the one.
Thirsty after all of that floating about.
All feet airborn again.
Surveying the scene.
Off he goes again.
Well, just you look at me!!! Handsome or what?
hes lovely aud mum is very nice looking to. what a lovely birthday present.

Dunbar's dam is the 3 Musketeers granny, so I suppose he is their half uncle!

Yes, Sam, I realised that he was your boy's full brother. Hopefully he will be just as gorgeous. Is your boy still entire? We are very excited about this boy.
He will enter our programme and spend his "childhood" here with us prior to going to Sally Anne once he is old/mature enough to be backed, schooled, ridden away and competed, then be sold to a really nice competition home if he makes the grade, which I am sure he will.

he's lovely, and isnt dunlin a lovely mare too!
dundee is still entire at the moment. i was always planning on having him gelded, and i did tell Gill that i probably would, but i have been back and forth since then, as he is as good as gold behaviour wise, and is growing up well, so i have have left him entire at the moment.
He hasnt done anything yet, but im hoping to get him out to a few shows over the winter/next spring (as soon as i have transport that is) and maybe aim for some county shows next year if he's ready.
