A question for you.
Do they hold Progeny classes for the New Forest pony at any of the shows?
They do it for the miniature horses at their Breed show and it is great fun to see how many ponies you can muster who are all related to one horse.
I just wondered if they did it with Foresters?
As Rhi said, just at the breed show on the Monday, and sadly very few seem to enter. I've often thought that Gosden Teazel would muster a good display, as would Dunedin, and it goes without saying that Dragonslayer offspring could fill the ring.

Homey was only on the forest for two seasons and managed to have 81 offspring so I imagine some of the long standing forest run stallions must have 100's of offspring - it is just the co-ordination of getting everyone there on the same day I suppose especially if the ponies are sold out of the area and are doing non showing jobs.
Might make it easier if the groups could also consist of a mum and two offspring or a dad and two offspring than just siblings.

anyone with farriers field of dreams as their ponies sire i would love to do this class at the breed show
