I took Homey to our RC show today - we hacked over - it takes an hour to get there.
Whilst we were waiting for our class we were standing next to the ring and a gazebo - there was a gust of wind and the gazebo took off. Homey was eating grass looked up briefly and then carried on eating.
Meanwhile there was chaos horse everywhere frightened, loose horses galloping about some spectators got knocked over by frightened horses. Loose horses jumping into the showing ring over the ropes.
During the chaos Homey continued to eat grass as if nothing was happened. I don't know if it just because he is exceptionally brave or if he was so greedy for juicy grass that nothing would have distracted him from eating!
Anyway I was very pleased at the point to have a sensible NF and not a horse with more prescence but not perhaps as brave!
I met his misses (one of many i'm sure ... hehehe) the other day (Georgies Mum)and she is a lovely grey mare. I went to buy a Forester yearling and got a fab tour of the Lucky Lane pony family
Here is a picture him grazing with his friend Tom, though Homey is now more furry. Dear little Homey - YO said Homey should have been given a special prize for being the most bombproof pony!
I think my boy would of taken off but saying that when hes in the field and all the other horses are galloping up and down their fields playing my boy is more than happy just eating his hay and looking occationaly
Current Topic - Homey is brave or perhaps just greedy!
